Stampin' Up! Forever Lovely

We're only 15 days from Valentine's Day happiness.  I'm still creating Valentines with the Stampin' Up! Stamp Sets and Dies from the Occasions Catalog. If you're still looking for ideas to express your love with one-of-a-kind handmade cards, feel free to C.A.S.E. this card idea.  I love creating with lots of die cuts.  and this card uses Stampin' Up! die cuts from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits, Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies, Lakeside Framelits Dies, and Delicate Lace Edgelits.  The sentiment is from the Forever Lovely set.  All these stamp sets and Dies are from the Occasions catalog and the Stampin' Up! annual catalog

I used a basecard of Thick Whisper White cardstock.  Then I used Whisper White die cuts from the Delicate Lace Edgelits Dies on two sides of a piece of Berry Burst to form the center panel for this card.  The Berry Burst section is dry embossed with the Corrugated Textured Impression Embossing Folders. I highly recommend lightly spraying your Berry Burst cardstock with a little water before running it through the Corrugated Embossing Folder and then drying it quickly with your heat tool to avoid your cardstock splitting when using this embossing folder.

Then a Whisper White lacy heart die cut is created using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  It is layered on top of a Sparkle Glimmer Paper Heart also cut using dies from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies along with the bow die cut, layered under the Berry Burst bow. The bow is created using the 3/8" Berry Burst Silver Metallic-edge Ribbon.  Two Berry Burst flowers accent the upper left side of the lacy heart, and they are popped up on mini Dimensionals cut in half. These two flowers are from one of the  Lovely lowers Edgelits Dies.  The center of one of the flowers includes a Rich Razzleberry pearl from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls.

The sentiment is from the Forever Lovely Stamp set.  It is stamped in Berry Burst Ink on a die cut from the Lakeside Framelits Dies.  The edges of the sentiment die cut are accented with Rich Razzleberry pearls from the  Share What You Love Artisan Pearls package.

The Whisper White filigree die cuts are from the  Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies set (148527).

Stampin' Up! Delicate Lace Edgelits

Today I planned to showcase the Petal Promenade Designer Series Papers again.  However, as I was looking through my dies and thinlits to find the new Thank You die, I decided to play with the Delicate Lace Edgelits too.  Am I ever glad I did!  The die I selected from the Delicate Lace Edgelits added such a wonderful accent to the card.  I think you'll like it too.  This is just one of the three dies included with the Delicate Lace Edgelits.  After the stunning results with the die I selected from this 3-piece set, now I can't wait to try the other two dies.

The basecard for this card is Fresh Fig.  I also used Fresh Fig for the Thank You die cut.  I cut two of the Delicate Lace Edgelits from Whisper White.  I love the details of this die including the stitched edging it creates.

I cut a piece of Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper for the center of the card and covered it with a layer of vellum cardstock.  To hid the glue, I first used multipurpose glue to adhere the "Thank You" die cut to the vellum.  Then I turned the vellum over and placed glue dots just behind the thick part of the letters in the "Thank You: die cut.

I placed a glue dot at the four corners of vellum, and then added the Silver Metallic Pearls colored twice with the Dark Cherry Cobbler Blends to hide the glue dots holding the vellum in place at the corners.

This card came together so quickly!  I love the way these two dies work together to accent this card.  You'll lave that the Stampin' Up! Petal Promenade designer series paper is on the Buy 3, Get one free sale going on now until July 31.  See all the Designer Series Papers on sale during this special on my previous post.
