Stampin' Up! Meant To Be Stamp Set

Love it or hate it, Valentine's Day is upon us, and one of the best ways to celebrate love is to send Valentines to your loved ones.  I'm continuing to play with the Valentine stamp sets and dies from Stampin' Up! There's so much to love!   You'll want to shop the new January-June 2020 Mini catalog and order your Valentine sets so you have time to create your cards and Valentine projects.

I'm so excited to see how well the new sets, dies and punches coordinating with the Meant To Be Stamp Stamp Set from the main catalog, which is a carry over from last year.  And if you're ordering the Paper Pumpkin Kit this month, the Heart Punch Pack from page 10 of the new catalog will coordinate with the hearts in the upcoming January Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Today's card uses a basecard of Thick Whisper White.  Then a layer of Poppy Parade.  Then a print from the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Next, I die cut a Whisper White scalloped rectangle layer with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

I die cut a Poppy Parade heart with one of the dies from the Stitched Be Mine Dies, on the left.  Then on the backside of the print I used from the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper, I punched one of the foil-print hearts using one of the punches from the Heart Punch Pack.  I then punched a scalloped heart out of Poppy Parade cardstock using the other punch from the Heart Punch Pack and used it as a mat to the foil-print heart.

I wanted a Poppy Parade ribbon to match my card, so I took a piece of Petal Pink 5/8" Organdy Striped Ribbon and colored it using the Poppy Parade ink pad and a clear block, tied it in a bow and added it to my card.

To complete my card, I selected a sentiment from the Meant To Be Stamp Set and stamped it in Poppy Parade ink on the corner of the scalloped, Whisper White rectangle.  To accent my card, I added Peaceful Poppies Sequins to one card and Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets to my other card.

I love the soft, airy look of this card.  You'll want to take a look at the entire From My Heart Suite on page 8-10 and the Heart To Heart Bundle on page 12 in the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog.  I appreciate that Stampin' Up! gives us items that coordinate across different stamp sets and different suites.    You'll Love What YOU Make with this suite.  If you don't have a demonstrator and want a copy of the new, January - June 2020 Mini catalogcontact me.   I would love to be your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

Sale-A-Bration...The Best time to Join Stampin' Up!

Is your imagination dreaming of the wonderful cards you'll create with sets from the new catalog?  I know I can hardly sit still when I'm waiting for my first catalog order to arrive. I keep fidgeting, checking Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook to see who's already posting new card ideas.  I feel like a tiny, little, compact kernel of popcorn, with magic trapped inside that when agitated, bursts to create something marvelously desirable. "Just get me my new catalog order!", I whisper to no-one under my breath.  I straighten my craft room--a little...well, very little-- and, desperately check the progress of my Stampin' Up! shipment with UPS.

When it arrives, I feel light and smiley and too full of excitement as I know I'm going to enjoy every minute unboxing and using my new items.  Every stamp set is the beginning of a new journey, and my heart races.  My craft room claims me as I immerse myself in a temporary feeling of bliss.

Painted Poppies Card Class #15
For many of us, the new year is a time to try something new as one of our New Year's goals.  Start this year by creating these 6 cards, which you can use as samples or templates to make more cards on your own. The Peaceful Poppies Suite we're using for this class is one of newest, hot stamp and die sets from the Stampin' Up! January-June 2020 Mini Catalog, introduced January 3.  This suite includes two stamp sets and two sets of coordinating dies, plus designer series papers and accessories.  This class gives you the opportunity to use all of this suite.  You'll finish this class with a collection of beautiful cards.  And, you'll feel more comfortable with all of the many pieces in this suite.

In this class, we'll make the cards in the photo below.  Six full-size cards where you'll use stamp sets, papers, and embellishments from the latest Stampin' Up! catalog, the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog.  These are great handmade cards to use when you want to send a special message to friends, or family, or need a thank-you for a special holiday hostess that you still need to send a Thank You card.

New stampers, experienced stampers, and other Stampin' Up! demonstrators are always welcome. It's a great way to create samples, share ideas and learn from each other. We have a great bunch of stampers who enjoy joking and laughing while stamping the afternoon away.
