Varied Vases Stamp Set

Today I'm again using the Varied Vases stamp set and coordinating punch.  While I purchased this bundle as part of my Demonstrator preorder, Customers can begin ordering this wonderful new bundle from the new catalog tomorrow, Friday, at 1 PM Central, June 1.

This card uses Lovely Lipstick, one of the new In Colors and Coastal Cabana, one of the returning colors.  I used the coordinating punch to punch a Post-It Note of the middle vase so that I could mask it while I stamped the other two vases.

The basecard is Thick Whisper White.  Then there is a layer of Coastal Cabana dry embossed with the Simple Stripes embossing Folder.  I turned my paper 45 degrees in the embossing folder to create diagonal lines rather than stripes.  Then there is a layer of Lovely Lipstick and the images are stamped on Whisper White.

I stamped the vases images in Smoky Slate, then I stamped the stems and flower heads with Lovely Lipstick, except for the center stem which is stamped in Mint Macaron.  The "water" in each vase is colored using  Aqua Painters and ink pads.  The flower blossoms are painted with a Blender Pen and Ink pads.

The sentiment is one of several included in the Varied Vases Stamp Set.  It is stamped in Lovely Lipstick.

This is a perfect card for using the Stamparatus Stamp Positioning tool.  Why?  If you want to make multiples of this card, use the four sides of your Stamparatus plates to set up the multiple stamps for the vases, flowers, stem and sentiment so that one stamping error doesn't cause you to start over.  Instead, just use the Stamparatus to  stamp any errors again. The Stamparatus can be ordered with your new catalog order on Friday, June 1.  Check it out on page on 207 of the new catalog.

There are two types of stampers who will order from the new June 1 catalog . . .

One type of stamper will place an order from the new catalog on Friday, June 1 and pay full retail for their order.  The other type of stamper will place a new catalog order and get her or his order at a 20 to 25% discount on all Stampin' Up! products.  The difference?  The second stamper signed up as a hobby demonstrator on June 1.  This smart stamper will place a Demonstrator Kit order for $99 and personally select $125 worth of merchandise picked from the new June 1 catalog.  Then, when she receives her Demonstrator number -- usually 15 to 20 minutes after the smart, hobby stamper signs up as a Demonstrator online -- she or he places future orders at a 20 to 25% discount. What a great way to support your crafting hobby!  Once you're a demonstrator, grow your crafting skills with Stampin' Up! University, and attend Stampin' Up! events.  Then decide to remain a hobby Demonstrator or use your new skills to earn money while doing something you love.  Read more here

Stampin' Up! Varied Vases Stamp Set

Varied Vases Stamp Set

Today I'm playing with another new stamp set and coordinating punch from the annual catalog that I ordered as part of the preorder for Demonstrators.  Customers can begin ordering from the new catalog at 1 PM Central, Friday, June 1.

This set is a collaborative design between Stampin' Up! and Mary Fish, one of the One Million Dollar Sales Demonstrators.  It is so cute, and so easy to create with this set.  I cut three different cards to make with this set, but I was only able to finish this one...just one of those crazy days with too many fun things to do!  I'm using a couple of fun colors -- Lovely Lipstick, one of the new In Colors, and Mint Macaron, one of the returning colors.

The basecard is Thick Whisper White.  Then there is a layer of Lovely Lipstick.  The Mint Macaron layer is dry embossed with one of the images from the Petal Pair embossing folder set along one edge. Then the image layer is die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits with a Lovely Lipstick mat.  Then the frame is die cut out of Mint Macaron using Stitched Shapes Framelits and Layering Square Framelits.

I stamped the vase image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then colored stamped the stem images in Mint Macaron.  The tulip heads were stamped in Lovely Lipstick and punched using the coordinating Vases Builder punch.  This stamp set and punch will be offered as a bundle at a 10% savings on page 45 of the new catalog.

The sentiment is from the Good Day stamp set, stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, and is punched out using the Classic Label Punch.  The bow is created using the 1/8" Real Red Solid Ribbon.

I used a Aqua Painter and ink pads to color the "water" in the vase, the stems and the heads of the tulips.   I started with a somewhat complex card to showcase this set today, but I'm looking forward to creating some cute, easy cards with this set next.  I think this will become one of my go-to sets for so many occasions.
