Fun card creations using Pale Papaya, a new In Color from Stampin' Up!

  • Pale Papaya Monochromatic Greeting Cards
  • Join now, purchase your Mini catalog items at a discount, beginning July 1
  • Last week to earn additional $25 in Stampin' Rewards
Here are a few more monochromatic cards from the Demonstrator Swap I've been showcasing this week.  Today I 'm showing several monochromatic cards from demonstrator friends featuring  the new In Color, Pale Papaya.   These cards feature Pale Papaya with Basic White and Basic Black accents.  Stampin' Up! did a fabulous job in selecting the 5 new In Colors for the next two years.  Pale Papaya is among my top two.  My favorite is actually Fresh Freesia.  Take a look at the closeups of each card to see the amazing details each designer lovely added to their card.  Then, be sure to add Pale Papaya inks, papers, ribbons and accessories to your next Stampin' Up! order.  If you haven't tried the new In Color cardstock, you can order an assortment package of just a few sheets of each of the new In Color.  Then pick your favorite colors and order a full pack of the color(s) you like the most from the new In Color collection.

The card below was created by a Demonstrator, Cathy Peck.  She used the Enjoy the Moment Stamp Set for her floral images and sentiment.  She used one of the prnts from the Hand-Penned 12" x 12" designer Series Papers as a layer over Pale Papaya Cardstock.  The image layer is matted Pal Papaya, and the images from the Enjoy the Moment Stamp Set are stamped in Pale Papaya ink.  The sentiment from this set is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Accents on the card include Pale Papaya 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon and sequins from the Artistry Blooms Adhesive Backed Sequins package.   Charming card, Cathy!

This next card, below, created by Annmarie Turner, uses the Quiet Meadow Bundle and the layers are created using the Scalloped Contours Dies.  The basecard is Thick Basic White.  Then a layer of Basic Black, and a scalloped layer of Pale Papaya.  Then the Basic White  image layer is also die cut using on the of the Scalloped Contours Die -- scallops and stitching in one die cut!  The floral image in Basic Black uses one of the dies from the Meadow Dies.  The butterfly and sentiment label are also from the Meadow Dies and are die cut from Pale Papaya.  The sentiment label is die cut from Pale Papaya Cardstock.  The butterfly is die cut from Pale Papaya Shimmer Vellum backed by a second butterfly in Pale Papaya cardstock.  The butterfly includes a Genial Gem in the center.    What a attractive card for a friend or family member to receive.

This card, below, created by Jennifer Arent, uses a combination of the All Squared Away Stamp Set and the Floral Squares Dies to create this subtle, yet beautiful card.  She used a Pale Papaya basecard.  Then a layer of one of the Pale Papaya prints from the Hand-Penned 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper.  The sentiments are stamped in Pale Papaya Ink.  The Floral Squares Dies were used to create the famed floral in the center of the card using Pale Papaya Cardstock.  The layer behind the die cut flower was created using one of the stamps from the All Squared Away Stamp Set. The die cut flower includes a Genial Gem accent, and a Pale Papaya bow completes this whimsical card.  I completely missed this bundle in the catalog, and will need to add it to my next order!

Why wait to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator?

I realize that many stampers want to join Stampin' Up! as a Demonstrator and will wait until Stampin' Up! runs a sign-up special.  I get it.  The sign up specials are really great.  However, there are benefits of joining right now this month.  Why, you ask?

  • Opportunities to see and purchase new Stampin' Up! products first.  Preorders from these catalogs allows Demonstrators to get a head start creating Fall and Holiday projects
  • Demonstrator Discounts.  You'll purchase your Fall and Holiday stampin' supplies at a generous demonstrator discount (20-25 percent)
  • Demonstrator Quick Start Program, where you can earn FREE products
  • Stampin' Up! events, where you stamp, learn and have a blast with your fellow Stampin' Up! lovers!
  • Craft Kits so you spend more time creating and less time preparing to stamp
  • Customized Starter Kit.  You Build a Starter Kit with stampin' products you select for $125 and pay only $99, plus you get it shipped to you free.

Three ways to use Polished Pink to create Monochromatic Greeting Cards

  • Polished Pink Monochromatic Greeting Cards
  • Final Days to order Expression In Color June Paper Pumpkin Kit
  • Last week to earn additional $25 in Stampin' Rewards
I'm showing you more of the card swaps I received from my swap with other talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators earlier this month.   Today, I selected three cards showcasing the new Polished Pink In Color, from the Monochromatic In Color swap.  These cards feature Polished Pink, with Basic White accents.  I loved the variety of these cards.  Each one showcases Polished Pink in a lovely environment, surrounded by interesting images, embossed backgrounds or with engaging die cuts. If you haven't tried the new In Color cardstock, you can order an assortment package of just a few sheets of each of the new In Color.  Then pick your favorite colors and order a full pack of the color(s) you like the most from the new In Color collection.

Three handmade greeting cards using Polished Pink In Color from Stampin' Up!

The card below was created by a Demonstrator, Mary Blocher.  She used the Color & Contour Stamp Set for her floral images, and Hand-Penned Stamp Set for the sentiment.  She created the background on the base card by stamping the floral stamp image in Polished Pink onto Polished Pink cardstock.  She used two of the Scalloped Contours Dies to create the Polished Pink open-scalloped layer, and for the scalloped Whisper White layer.  The flowers were stamped in Polished Pink, and Polished Pink blends were used to color the die cut flower.  The bow is created using the 3/8" Polished Pink Open Weaved Ribbon.  The speckled background was created using one of the stamps from the Color & Contour Bundle.  Lovely card, Mary!

This next card, below, created by Robin Schaeppi, uses the Brilliant Wings Dies to create this whimsical butterfly card.  The card again uses Polished Pink and Basic White Cardstock with a scattering of 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.  Both the butterflies backgrounds as well as the detailed butterflies were die cut from this die set. All of these butterflies and butterfly shapes are found in the Brilliant Wings Dies -- plus more!  I think this set of dies is a great value.  They work well on their own, plus there is a coordinating Brilliant Butterflies Stamp Set to make this an exceptional value.  What a fun card for a friend or family member to receive.

This final card, below, created by Becky O'Donnell, uses a combination of the Friends Are Like Seashells Stamp Set, the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder, and the helm is from the Smooth Sailings Dies.  It includes a tasteful pearl in the center.    I love all of the texture on this card.  The basecard and inks used on the card are Polished Pink.  The sentiment is from the Sailing Home Stamp Set.  The matt behind the image layer is a piece of Polished Pink dry embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Perfect for graduation cards, or change the sentiment for summer beach parties or birthdays.

Again, these cards showcase the different looks you can create  with just one of the In Colors, Die Cuts, and Basic White. This is a color that orderly, yet feminine, with strength and softness.  It is the perfect color to convey kindness and compassion. You can order any of these items by clicking elements below. Or, order from my Stampin' Up! shopping site  24 X 7.
