Fun card creations using Pale Papaya, a new In Color from Stampin' Up!

  • Pale Papaya Monochromatic Greeting Cards
  • Join now, purchase your Mini catalog items at a discount, beginning July 1
  • Last week to earn additional $25 in Stampin' Rewards
Here are a few more monochromatic cards from the Demonstrator Swap I've been showcasing this week.  Today I 'm showing several monochromatic cards from demonstrator friends featuring  the new In Color, Pale Papaya.   These cards feature Pale Papaya with Basic White and Basic Black accents.  Stampin' Up! did a fabulous job in selecting the 5 new In Colors for the next two years.  Pale Papaya is among my top two.  My favorite is actually Fresh Freesia.  Take a look at the closeups of each card to see the amazing details each designer lovely added to their card.  Then, be sure to add Pale Papaya inks, papers, ribbons and accessories to your next Stampin' Up! order.  If you haven't tried the new In Color cardstock, you can order an assortment package of just a few sheets of each of the new In Color.  Then pick your favorite colors and order a full pack of the color(s) you like the most from the new In Color collection.

The card below was created by a Demonstrator, Cathy Peck.  She used the Enjoy the Moment Stamp Set for her floral images and sentiment.  She used one of the prnts from the Hand-Penned 12" x 12" designer Series Papers as a layer over Pale Papaya Cardstock.  The image layer is matted Pal Papaya, and the images from the Enjoy the Moment Stamp Set are stamped in Pale Papaya ink.  The sentiment from this set is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Accents on the card include Pale Papaya 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon and sequins from the Artistry Blooms Adhesive Backed Sequins package.   Charming card, Cathy!

This next card, below, created by Annmarie Turner, uses the Quiet Meadow Bundle and the layers are created using the Scalloped Contours Dies.  The basecard is Thick Basic White.  Then a layer of Basic Black, and a scalloped layer of Pale Papaya.  Then the Basic White  image layer is also die cut using on the of the Scalloped Contours Die -- scallops and stitching in one die cut!  The floral image in Basic Black uses one of the dies from the Meadow Dies.  The butterfly and sentiment label are also from the Meadow Dies and are die cut from Pale Papaya.  The sentiment label is die cut from Pale Papaya Cardstock.  The butterfly is die cut from Pale Papaya Shimmer Vellum backed by a second butterfly in Pale Papaya cardstock.  The butterfly includes a Genial Gem in the center.    What a attractive card for a friend or family member to receive.

This card, below, created by Jennifer Arent, uses a combination of the All Squared Away Stamp Set and the Floral Squares Dies to create this subtle, yet beautiful card.  She used a Pale Papaya basecard.  Then a layer of one of the Pale Papaya prints from the Hand-Penned 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper.  The sentiments are stamped in Pale Papaya Ink.  The Floral Squares Dies were used to create the famed floral in the center of the card using Pale Papaya Cardstock.  The layer behind the die cut flower was created using one of the stamps from the All Squared Away Stamp Set. The die cut flower includes a Genial Gem accent, and a Pale Papaya bow completes this whimsical card.  I completely missed this bundle in the catalog, and will need to add it to my next order!
