Life is a Balancing Act

  • Hey, Chickie, Life is a balancing act!
  • Sale-A-Bration selection with each $50 purchases
  • What do you do for fun?

Hey, Chick! stamp set from Stampin' Up!

I was thinking this morning about all the things we balance in life and decided to use the Hey, Chick set to convey that feeling we've all had when things start piling up and we're trying to balance too many things in our lives.  This is a 3-5/8" X 7-3/4" card done in Tip Top Taupe.

Life is a balencing act

I found that this is one of the hardest Stampin' Up! colors to photograph and get its  true color.  The others that seem to give me trouble are Pink Pirrouette and Peekaboo Peach.

So I finally broke out my DSL camera and re shot the card, and even after trying multiple color and light corrections in my software, it still doesn't look as good in the photo as my original Tip Top Taupe card.   The DSL camera did turn out to be truer colors than my iPhone camera shot. Some times the photography and color corrections take longer than the cards do!

I chose the wood mounted set when I purchased this set, so, in order to line up all the chicks correctly, I broke out my Stamp-a-ma-gig.  Got all the hens and eggs balanced first try!

The Hey, Chick set is one of the stamp sets you can only get as a free selection with a $50 order and only during Sale-A-Bration, and you can tell I'm really taken with this fun set.
