Stampin' Up! Accented Blooms

I'm still reeling from yesterday's new stamp set.  I'm so in love with Serene Garden.  So today, I decided to do a really simple card with another new stamp set and new colors.  Today's card uses Stampin' Up! Accented Blooms and two new colors, Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather.  This is such a simple set to use.   I grabbed my Stamparatus and a couple of pieces of Thick Whisper White.  On the large piece, I stamped the lager image.  On the smaller piece, I stamped the sentiment.  Assemble, color, add a ribbon, done!

The basecard is the new Highland Heather.  I dry embossed on just a section of the bottom of the basecard with the Scattered Sequins Embossing Folder  Then a layer of Thick Whisper White.  I stamped the image and sentiment in Gorgeous Grape.  These are such nice rich colors.  Our new ink pads with the defoamer in the ink ensures that images with lots of ink turn out fully colored.

After stamping the flower image, I squeezed my closed Gorgeous Grape ink pad to get a little color in the cover.  Then I used an Aqua Painter to add just a touch of color to the stamped flowers.  I added Dimensionals to the punched sentiment and added it to the image.  This stamp set also includes another sentiment as well.  Then I used some of the new Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon to add a bow to the bottom of the image block.

This card also used Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather inks and paper

You'll love creating these cards and then sharing your creativity with others when you need to send a special "thank you", a friendly "hello", or remember a Birthday.  Pick from a variety of sentiments so each card fits your needs..
