Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits Dies Stampin' Up!

With the new Snowflake Showcase promotion coming in November 1, I wanted to make sure that I got to use the existing Stampin' Up! Swirly Snowflake Thinlits Dies so I don't forget how beautiful these sets are.   Today I'm showing two cards using the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits Dies.  The first I created and the second I received in an August swap, without a name attached.  For the sentiment on the card I created, I used the Flourishes Filigree Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog.

The basecard I'm using is Whisper White cardstock.  The next layer is Gold Glimmer Paper. Then another layer of Whisper White dry embossed with the Softly Falling Embossing folder.

I then embossed in gold embossing powder one of the sentiments from the Flourishing Filigree stamp set and punched it out using the Pretty Label Punch.

The beautiful Gold Glimmer Paper snowflakes are backed with Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets before die cutting to make applying them to the card front very easy.   I also added two Gold Metallic Pearls to the sentiment.  What a great Holiday card!

This card uses the same die set, but it is created on a background of Petal Pink cardstock.  The two upper snowflakes and the sentiment are heat embossed in Silver Embossing Powder using stamps from the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set.  The three snowflakes on the bottom use the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits die and are cut out of Silver Foil Sheets.  The bow is from the Powder Pink Shimmery Ribbon pack.

These two beautiful cards show you the different looks you can get from this coordinating stamp set and dies.

Take a look at the sets and dies available in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.  Order your holiday stamp sets and dies soon so you'll have them in plenty of time to create your handmade holiday cards.
