Another Valentine Card with Meant to Be Stamp Set

  • Stampin' Up! Meant To Be Stamp Set
  • Time to get your Lovely Lipstick on
  • Make Beautiful Bows like the one below

Stampin' Up! Meant To Be

I'm still not finished with all my Valentine's Card.  Are You?  Here's a design I created today that is very, very simple, yet looks amazing.  It uses the Stampin' Up! Meant To Be Stamp Set, the All My Love Designer Series Paper, and a ribbon and epoxy hearts from the All My Love Suite from the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog plus papers from the Stampin' Up! annual catalog

I used a basecard of Lovely Lipstick cardstock.  I wasn't sure I would like this color as much as I did once I started using it this year.  I'm so happy Stampin' Up! added it as one of the new In Colors.  Then I used a layer of Whisper White.  Next, for my image layer I used All My Love Designer Series Paper.

The sentiment is from the Meant To Be Stamp Set.  I die cut the largest circle from Whisper White using the Stitched Shapes Framelit and stamped the sentiment in Lovely Lipstick.  I also selected the swirl or flowers boarder from the same set and stamped it under the sentiment.  Below that, I added three of the smallest Heart Epoxy Droplets from the All My Love suite on Pg 5 of the Occasions catalog.

The bow on the card uses All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack from the All My Love Suite.  It includes two different ribbons.  I used the 1/3" Lovely Lipstick ribbon with the white stitched edge for my card.

If you're still deciding on your Valentine stamp sets for this year's cards, the Meant To Be Stamp set along with the All My Love Designer Series Paper is a great purchase.  I love that the All My Love Designer Series Paper includes several prints that can be used long after Valentine's Day is over.  You'll find this paper package to be a great value for Valentines and beyond. However, you'll want to order your Valentine's stamp sets this week so they reach you in time for you to make handmade cards for your loved ones.  Remember that each $50 order earns you a free selection from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.

How do I create such beautiful bows?

I'm often asked how I create such beautiful bows for my cards, like the one on the card above.  Several years ago my husband made me a small, wooden bow maker with a couple of wooden pegs that store in the end of the wood block when not in use.

Since then people attending my classes requested he make more for them to purchase.  He recently made another small batch, and I have a few remaining.  Sold only in the USA.  US$30.00 - includes shipping to continental USA.  Paypal to dje-ross@swbell.net along with your shipping address, or contact me to send you a PayPal invoice for your own wooden bow maker. Limited time offer until they are gone.

How to save 20-25% on your Stampin' Up! purchases

Join Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator and you'll receive a 20-25% discount on your Stampin' Up! orders.  Sale-A-Bration is the best time to join Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator, because you'll select $175 worth of merchandise for $99 as your starter kit for joining.

Sign up this week, so you'll have time to order your starter kit, and order a stamp and paper to make your handmade Valentines with your new Stampin' Up! starter kit goodies.

New Stampin' Up! Demonstrators select $175 in products for $99

Put together your wishlist of $175 worth of products--personalized with just what YOU want--as your $99 starter kit.  Choose ANY Stampin' Up! products to fill your kit.  Host sets and Sale-A-Bration gifts are excluded.

If you join in January, you'll receive a 20% discount on additional demonstrator purchases through July 31 2019.  That means you'll be able to purchase from the new 2019-2020 annual catalog including the early catalog purchase period, only available to demonstrator in May, before the June catalog is released.

You'll have until July to reach your first $300 quarterly sales minimum and keep your demonstrator discount for July through September quarter, which means you'll purchase from the Holiday catalog at your demonstrator discount, too!

This gives you time to build your hobby supplies with your 20% demonstrator discount, if you choose to be a hobby demonstrator,  with no obligation to host workshops or sell products.  Or, this gives you time to grow your business if you decide to turn your hobby into a business.  If you decide to drop, there's never a penalty.  And you can join again, later.
