A simple Daisy Lane card idea

This week I highlighted several Daisy cards that include Designer Series Papers and multiple steps.  Today, I wanted to show a simple Daisy card, that you can make quickly using just cardstock, your Daisy Punch and ink.  Of course you're going to want to add a flower center from the Perennial Essence Floral Centers embellishments.

I love stamp sets that work when you want to create a simple card or a more fussy card.  the Daisy Lane and coordinating punches work so well for creating a range of cards.  If you've been following my blog this week, you'll see the variety of looks you can create from this set and punch.

A simple card using Daisy Lane Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!

This card uses a basecard of Crumb Cake Cardstock.  Then a layer of Whisper White.  Then the image layer is another layer of Crumb Cake.

The large Daisy was punched out twice from Whisper White cardstock, and then layered together to give the Daisy more fullness.  I didn't even stamp the leaves, making this so fast to create.  I did use a bone folder to slightly turn down the edges of the Daisy to give the Daisy a more realistic look.  Then I popped the Daisy Heads up on Dimensionals and added a Perennial Essence Floral Center

I stamped the stem and leaves and the sentiment from the Daisy Lane Stamp Set in Old Olive onto the top Crumb Cake layer.  There are three sentiments with this set, giving you a variety to choose from.  To get the most out of the Daisy Lane Stamp Set, I recommend also getting both the Daisy Punch and the Daisy Lane Bundle which includes the Daisy Lane stamp set and the Medium Daisy Punch.  You'll Love What You Make with this set.

Final Days to register for Birds & Blooms Card Class - June 23, 2019

If you've wanted to learn to create handmade cards that are a cut above, join us for our next class.  While we are using several new sets in this class, were making two cards with the new Daisy Lane stamp set.  I'm so excited.  Stampin' Up! has made an important change in this year's catalog.  There are more stamps than ever that work across multiple sets.  I'm so excited.  Daisy Lane uses one of our favorite punches--the Daisy Punch-- and a new, medium-size Daisy Punch, introduced in early June with the launch of the new, annual Stampin' Up! catalog.  This punch is part of the Daisy Lane bundle.  And this new Daisy Lane stamp set and Medium Daisy punch coordinates with our existing Daisy Delight stamp set.  I just love it when I can coordinate across two stamp sets and two punches.  It gives me so many options!

This fun class using all-new sets from the new catalog.  Plus, we'll play with new Designer Series Papers, Background Stamps, punches, and new dies to show off many of the new suites from the catalog.

Show loved ones how much you care by sending these thoughtful, beautiful handmade cards to celebrate special birthdays, let someone know your thinking of them, a thank you, or sending them a beautiful Spring greetings.  You'll love what you make, and you can customize your cards with alternate sentiments.
