Lovely Blushing Bride Daisy Card with Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper

Blushing Bride Daisy Card

Well, I can't seem to get away from those beautiful prints in the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Daisy Lane Stamp Set.  Do you ever go into your craft room with a plan in mind for a stamp set and card idea?  And two hour later you've finished a completely different card and you never even picked up the stamp set you planned to use?  That's what happened to me today.  I pulled this beautiful print out of the Pressed Petals paper pack and it was sitting on top of my paper shelf.  As soon as I saw it, I abandoned all thought of making the card I planned and started looking at papers that worked with this print.  Wow!  This print goes with sooo many papers.  I had a hard time settling, but as soon as I paired Blushing Bride and Rocco Rose with this print, I knew I had a winner.

As I said, I used a basecard of Blushing Bride.  Then a layer of Rococo Rose.  Then this print from the Pressed Petals Specialty Paper Pack.  The print worked with yellows, blues, greens and pinks, plus Crumb Cake and Soft Suede.  I really did have a hard time deciding what papers to use on this card!

The two daisies were stamped with the Daisy Lane stamp set. One was stamped in Blushing Bride. The other in Rococo Rose. Then they were punched out with the Medium Daisy punch.  The cute, fuzzy yellow centers are the Perennial Essence Floral Centers.  If these centers are on your Shopping List, I noticed that when I reordered more this evening, that inventory was low, so place your order soon before they go on back order. I also added a piece of the 1/2" Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon to the card.

The sentiment is from the Accented Blooms Stamp Set.  I stamped it in Rococo Rose on Whisper White, and punched it out with the Tailored Tag Punch.  Then I matted the tag with Blushing Bride.

If you haven't purchased the new Daisy Lane Bundle, order it now along with a package of Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper and some of the cute, fuzzy Perennial Essence Floral Centers.  Your purchase of these 3 items will qualify you for a $5 coupon code to use in August.   Each $50 you spend in July earns you a coupon code to redeem in August, and you'll Love What You Make with this bundle.
