Stampin' Up! Easy Birthday Card

Sometimes you just need to create a quick card.  Today's card is very quick, but it looks oh so stunning.  It uses the beautiful Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper and the stamp sets are from the New Stamper Brochure.  Its a stamp set called Magnolia Blooms  (Item # 152729), and its a set that's NOT in the annual catalog; only in the New Stamper Brochure.
Card using Stampin' Up! Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper

The base card for this card is Petal Pin.  Then a layer of Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper.

The Delicate Lace Die was used with Very Vanilla cardstock to create the die cut on the lower part of the card.

Card using Magnolia Blooms Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!

To create the sentiment layer, I die cut from Very Vanilla an oval using the Stitched Shapes Dies.  Then I stamped the sentiments from the Magnolia Blooms Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow ink.

To complete the card. I added a Petal Pink 5/8" Organdy Striped Ribbon.  Be sure to add this set to your Shopping List

Sometimes the big, annual catalog can be confusing.  Especially for a new stamper  Stampin' Up! has created a great brochure for new stampers with a collection of stamps, kits, punches and creative ideas for using stamps that are perfect for new stampers. I've fallen in love with several sets from this brochures, and I'm sure you will too!  New stamper?  Need a copy of this brochure?  Contact me and I'll make sure you get one.

Final Shipment of Trimmer Blade  - August 27, 2019

The Final Batch of Trimmer Blades (Item 126995) arrived early.  We expected to receive this shipment from the vendor in September, and therefore told you we would proved another batch of blades in September.  However, because the blades arrived early and we do not want to hold them back from you, Stampin' Up! is going to make these final blades available during the last week of August.

The final batch will be available on Tuesday, August 27, 15 10:00 am (MT), and when they sell out they will be gone for good,

It is important that if you want to place an order for these blades that you do so directly through my online store.  In the past, blades have sold out within minutes, and individuals placing single orders have had more success than demonstrators placing orders for multiple customers. Make sure your on-line account is completely up to date BEFORE August 27.  Then, be ready to log into my online store at exactly 10 am (MT).  If you log in early, you may have to log out and log in again after 10 am (MT) as the order system will need to update before you can order. Again, the Trimmer Blades Item # is 126995) The limit is three blades per customer.

New Paper Trimmer:  Also, Stampin' Up! announced that they will have a new paper trimmer available for demonstrators to purchase before the end of 2019, which will sell for US$25.00.  (Another reason to join Stampin' Up! as a Demonstrator, now.)  That likely means that customers will be able to purchase the new paper trimmers in early 2020.  Don't hesitate to contact me with questions.

I'm Stamper of the Week at Splitcoaststampers.com!

I was so surprised, pleased and humbled to learn that I was named Feature Stamper of the week for the week of August 18, 2019, by one of my favorite stamping web sites, Splitcoaststampers.com.

That means that stampers on the site can choose a card from my gallery on Splitcoaststampers and create their own version of it.  Here's a link to this weeks Featured Stampers forum where these gracious stampers have begun posting links to their versions of cards from my gallery.   I'm deeply honored.
