This time of year, while it might seem that all our cards begin to have Fall and Winter themes, we still need cards for every-day occasions. That's where the Splendid Day Suite from the Stampin' Up! July-December Mini Catalog shines. With foil papers and pastel prints with botanical designs, you'll be reminded of cool, crisp mornings, perfect for any occasion this time of year. I used one of the copper and white foil prints from the Splendid Day Specialty Designer Series Paper pack, and created an interesting background using the Split Card Textures Dies and the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder. Then I added a few of the nature-inspired die cuts from the Splendid Stems Dies, and a sentiment using Stylish Shapes Dies and the Go To Greeting Stamp Set, and my card was finished. You'll love the elegant imagery these foil papers and die cuts add to your cards, and you'll enjoy the pleasure your cards bring to friends and family who receive them from you. This card uses a basecard of Thick Basic White Cardstock. Then a layer of Basic White Cardstock die cut using the Split Card Textures Dies, and then I dry embossed this layer using the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder. Then, my image layer was on of the copper and white foil prints from the Splendid Day 12" X 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper.
I used the Splendid Stems Dies and die cut from Basic White and the copper Splendid Day foil botanical stem images. I added them to the lower right side of the image layer.
I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to Die cut a sentiment label. I stamped a sentiment from the Go To Greeting Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and mounted it on Dimensionals before adding it to the card.
