Create a heartfelt impression that your good friend will cherish with the enchanting Stampin' Up! Impressions Abloom Bundle from the Floral Impressions Suite Collection. Imagine crafting standout cards that burst with brightness and cheer, adorned with an array of vibrant flowers and lush greenery. This unique assortment of dies offers intricate details that elevate your paper crafting to new heights, making each card a true work of art. Weather you're expressing gratitude or celebrating a special occasion, this suite is your go-to for heartfelt creations. Filled with exquisite designer series papers intricate dies, delightful stamps and stunning embellishments --including gold-edged tags--it's perfect for both greeting card and scrapbook pages alike. In this creation, I've showcased the delicate details of the floral dies and "race track" shaped oval dies from the Impressions Abloom Bundle. My chosen color palette features the soft charm of Fresh Freesia, the bold hue of Berry Burst, the refreshing tone of Old Olive, and the crisp clarity of Basic White cardstock. To add a touch of elegance, I included a die cut of the word "friend' from the Friends for Life Dies and used the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder for textured depth. The innovative racetrack shaped dies helped me design a unique tri-fold greeting card that is sure to make the recipient feel truly special.
The card base for this card is Fresh Freesia. It includes a flap of Thick Basic White cardstock attached to the left side of the basecard, die cut using the "racetrack" shape from the Impressions Abloom Bundle. I also used the stitched "racetrack" shape outline to accent the opening on the card front. The cardfront also includes the "friend" die cut from the Friends for Life Dies, Item 163364, which are currently on sale in the Last Chance section of the Stampin' Up! Store
On the first inside layer, I used a Basic White layer with one of the Basic White "racetrack" shaped Basic White layers and dry embossed it with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing Folder to use as the background for the floral die cuts. I used the Impressions Abloom Dies to die cut 5 Fresh Freesia flower heads, and the separate die to die cut and embossed the flower centers. Then I used the stem dies from the set to die cut 3 stems in Old Olive Cardstock. Finally, I two leaf die and die cut 5 leaves from Old Olive Cardstock. I arranged the florals, stems and leaves so that they would show through the opening on the front of the card.
Opening the floral layer, I created an area to stamp or write a sentiment or note to the recipient. The Basic White layer is matted with a Berry Burst layer.
Cutting dimensions:
- Basecard: 6-1/4" X 5-1/2", On the long side, score at 1" and 5-1/4"
- Top Layer Attached to left side: 3-3/4 X 5"
- Second layer attached to right side: 3-3/4" X 5"
- Inside layers: 3-3/4" matte, 3-5/8" X 4-7/8"
- Use Die cut from card front on the inside after dry embossing
- Flower die cuts: 4-1/4 X 5-1/2
- Flower centers: 1-1/2" X 5"
- Leaves and Stems: 4-1/4 X 5-1/2
- Sentiment Die cut: 4" X 2-1/2"
