This video instructions for this kit include great tips as you create your cards together with Stampin' Up! experts. Plus you can customize your cards as you create them -- different sentiments or different ink colors -- based on your own design aesthetics. Here are a few of my favorites from the live Oct 1-2 event. You can still make these cards by ordering the Virtual Card Retreat Kit and using the video replays or the included written instruction whenever your schedule allows.
15 Cards, Endless Details, High Impact Designs using realistic dies, and great papers from the Virtual Card Retreat Kit.
For the card above, we learned how to create this unique patchwork background accented with White Gel Pen for more detail. Change up the sentiments and use Petunia Pop ink to stamp your butterflies like I did to create a more monochromatic card.
You'll love the variety of sentiments available in the Virtual Card Retreat Kit, and the variety of floral stamps will spark you creative imagination long after you complete the Virtual Card Retreat Kit.
Detailed layering, and stamping matching envelopes creates continuity with your special cards.
This card, above, unlocked advanced card artistry, and turned out to be my favorite. In fact, I had enough pieces in the kit to create three of this card. Yeah! I can share what I learned with some of my favorite people.
Precision meets passion: I triple-made this card with extra pieces from the Virtual card Retreat Kit.
Beyond the Basics: Here is another lovely floral card made during the Virtual Card Retreat. We added shine to the petals by "painting" them with a heavy layer of Wink of Stella.
The above card illustrates how you can use die cut images in different ways. For instance, the butterfly wings are die cut floral shapes turned sideways. The dragon fly wings were the left over scraps from the scissor shaped used on other cards.
Retreats and classes are a great way to keep your crafting skills fresh with fun techniques that extend the use of your stamps and dies to create memorable cards for those you love.
