More Flowering Foils and So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper

Stampin' Up! Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper

I can't stop playing with the Stampin' Up! Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Today, I used the flower print again and colored them with Rococo Rose Blends.  The Rococo Rose Stampin' Blends Markers are one of the free Sale-A-Bration selections with a $50 order that Stampin' Up! announced last week during the third release of Sale-A-Bration selections.  But Sale-A-Bration Ends today, so if you want these alcohol makers, you must order them tonight, March, 31, 2020.  I fussy cut a partial flower on the edge of the full page of printed flowers, and layered a full flower over it to get the most out of the flowers in this print.

Just like yesterday's card, the basecard for today's card is Thick Whisper White Cardstock.  Then a layer of So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper.  To adhere the vellum, I rolled Glue Dots around the end of a paper pierce and then added the glue dot behind one of the raised dots along the edge of the So Very Vellum.

I fussy cut the flowers from one of the prints from the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper, which I colored using Light and Dark Rococo Rose Stampin' Blends for the flower heads and Light Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Marker for the leaves.  I popped the flowers up on Stamping Dimensionals before adhering it to the card front.

For the sentiment, I selected a sentiment from the Beautiful Day Stamp Set.  I stamped it on a piece of Whisper White using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I added a few Glitter Enamel Dots from my retired stash to complete the card.   Here's the card from yesterday next to today's card.  I think both colors are beautiful with the So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper.Beautifu

This is a lovely card to send someone today to let them know you're thinking of them.  Or use another sentiment to personalize the card for your specific use.  Let's keep stampin' to take our mind off the news while we enjoy our time at home.  Sending handmade cards is a great way to stay in touch when you can't be with distant loved ones and your cards will be greatly appreciated during these times.

If you don't have a demonstrator and want a copy of the January-June 2020 Mini catalogcontact me.   I would love to be your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

Final chance for Sale-A-Bration 2020 rewards with  your $50 and $100 orders.  Sale-A-Bration ends tonight, March 31, 2020. Wow!  Where did the past three months go?  I'm so sad to see this wonderful promotion end.  I had to put in one last order myself today, to get one more package of the beautiful Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper used i the project above.   Although many free selections have sold out during Sale-A-Bration, Stampin' Up announced a third set of free Sale-A-Bration items from the annual catalog you can earn with your $50 or $100 order.  If you've been waiting, you now have even more free gifts to select from with your qualifying order.  Note:  Be sure you use the item numbers from this flyer when you select one of these new selections.

Stampin' Up! Power Of Hope

Today's card of a lantern using the Power of Hope Bundle is cased from another demonstrator, Gail Ellis.  Having so many talented demonstrator friends worldwide is wonderful when you're stumped for ideas for using a new stamp set.   If you're looking for a special note to send to friends & family for a special occasion ... or just want an interesting card to stay in touch, the Power Of Hope Sale-A-Bration stamp set is for you.    There are so many interesting elements on this card you can be sure the recipient will treasure the time you took to put it together.  But you only have weeks left to earn the stamp set and including the coordinating Stone 3D embossing folder, during the once a year Sale-A-Bration event...Stampin' Up!'s best sale of the year because of the free merchandise you can earn with each $50 or $100 order.

The basecard for today's card is thick Whisper White.  Then a layer of Basic Black cardstock.  Then a layer of Real Red.  Then a layer of Basic Black dry embossed with the Stone 3D Embossing Folder, part of the Power of Hope Bundle.

For the image layer I stamped one of the main images from the Power Of Hope Stamp Set and then added accents of leaves from the the Free As A Bird Stamp Set.  I lightly colored the leaves with Light Soft Sea Foam Blends Markers.  I colored the roof with Light Real Red Blends Marker.  Once the images were stamped and colored, I used the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder to give it the illusion of a lantern.  I added strips of Real Red to the top and bottom and added a piece Whisper White Baker's Twine to the top of the lantern.

The sentiment is also from the Power Of Hope Stamp Set.  It is stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Whisper White die cut cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies from the January-June 2020 Mini catalog.

Add the Power Of Hope Stamp Set to your shopping list before Sale-A-Bration ends.  Or join us for a class below where we'll make this card.   Hurry, Sale-A-Bration ends March 31, 2020, and products selections are only available until they are sold out. You'll love everything you make with these wonderful products.
