Another card idea using Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper

Pressed Petals pre-Designed Card Front with Daisies

I'm again using the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Today I'm using one of the pre-designed card fronts along with Detailed Bands Dies.  See my post from yesterday to see another of these pre-designed card fronts.

Handmade card idea using Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper

I used a basecard of Crushed Curry.  Then a layer of Soft Suede.  Then I cut down the pre-designed card front from the Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper to fit my card. Uncut, the card front covers your card 100%.

Then, to add a sentiment, I decided to use vellum to allow the flowers to show rather than covering them with cardstock.  I stamped a sentiment from the Butterfly Wishes Stamp Set in Soft Sued ink onto the strip of vellum.  I then die cut a label out of Very Vanilla using the Detailed Bands Dies

The die cut Detailed Bands label gives the card the raised dimension I think it needs.

You'll find videos of the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Papers as well as the other items in the Pressed Petals Suite in yesterday's post.  Still can't get enough of Pressed Petals?  Join us for one of the classes below.

This month is the perfect month to stock up on cardstock that's getting low, the new blends colors in the annual catalog, or those last pieces of Storage from Stampin' Up! that will complete your stamp pad/reinkers/Blends storage.  Each $50 you spend in July earns you a coupon code to redeem in August, and You'll Love What You Make with this bundle.

Two Pressed Petals & Daisy Lane Classes

July 14, 2019
Sunday Afternoon:  1:30 - 5:30 pm
Long Class - Pressed Petals and Daisies Class
This class is an opportunity to make several incredibly beautiful cards with one of the paper packs I found to be a real sleeper in the new, annual Stampin' Up! catalog.  We'll use two new bundles from the annual Stampin' Up! catalog--the Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper and the Daisy Lane stamp set and coordinating punches--to make these cards.

These are the 6 cards we'll make in the July 14, 2019 class

Join us for a relaxing Sunday afternoon creating these 6 beautiful cards.

For a closer look at each project we'll make, take a look at the Meetup Photo album for this class, and register for the class while visiting my Meetup registration site.  The Meetup photo album includes individual photos of each project we'll make.

July 15, 2019
Monday Morning:  10:00 AM - 12:00 noon
Short Class - Pressed Petals & Daisies Monday Morning Card Class
This short, fun class is an opportunity to make 3 lovely cards using two of the new suites from the annual Stampin' Up! Catalog.  We'll make two cards using Daisy Lane stamp set and coordinating punches and we'll use the Pressed Petals Designer Series Papers to make the 3rd card.  This is a great way to try these new catalog items before making a purchase, and you'll have cards on hand to send to friends and family.
