Enchanted by the Stampin' Up! Lovely Blossom masterpieces from the craft class in February (still available virtually!), I'm now in a race to transform my Lovely Blossom remaining supplies into paper poetry before the new catalog's grand entrance steals the spotlight. Take a look at these magical cards!. The 2X Rewards event--beginning tomorrow-- is the perfect time to pick up theses papers and stamps...and earn extra rewards to spend when the catalog debuts next month.
One of the sheets in the Lovely Blossom Designer Series Paper includes a sheet of different size images perfect for both card making and paper crafting projects, all set in the palette of fresh white, Petal Pink Old Olive, and Soft Sea. These images cut apart for easy accents and add elegance to your projects.
The card base for this card is Secret Sea cut 5-1/2 X 7-1/4 and scored at 4-1/4 on the long side. Then, the panel on the left was covered with a print from the Woven Textures 12 X 12 Designer series Paper cut to 2-3/4" X 5-1/4. Then the Petal Pink Layer is 4" X 4-1/2, scored on the 4" side at 3-1/2". The 1/2" of this Petal Pink Layer is rucked under the 5-1/4" X 4" Basic White layer on the inside of the card.To complete the image layer, cut a Secret Sea Layer of 3-1/4 X 4-1/8". Then, the floral image layer is cut from the image sheet of the Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper. This paper pack includes three sheets of each design rather than the typical two sheets in most of our packs.A Secret Sea Dot from the Moody Palette Glossy Dots accents the sentiment label.With the new Stampin' Up! catalog right around the corner, I wanted to finish using more of my beautiful supplies to make room for the new In Colors and wonderful new stamps and dies.

New felt ink pads in a magnet-based case will roll out gradually over the next two years. These new pads
- hold more ink, which means less frequent re-inking
- are easier to open (less mess)
- feature snap-tight closure
- felt based ink pads provide greater long-term ink stability
- felt releases ink in a more controlled way, which works especially well for detailed images; reduces risk of over-inking and smudging
