Cute card using Stampin' Up! Have a Hoot Stamp Set

  • Stampin Up! Have A Hoot Stamp Set
  • Coordinating Peek-A-Hoot Dies
  • Can I mail you January-June 2021 Mini Catalog and SAB?
My sister-in-law and I spent the afternoon making greeting cards as we wanted to spend some time together, and we didn't want to spend any time in stores right now.  We finished many different greeting cards and then she wanted one for her grandson for Hanukkah, who she hasn't been able to see in person for months due to Covid-19.  I grabbed the Have a Hoot set with its coordinating Peek-A-Hoot dies with the darling cut outs, and found a Hanukkah sentiment in the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set and created the card and sentiment below that will work perfectly for her grandson.   I used my Woodlands embossing folder to create a wooded background for these adorable little owls.  Add a few Blue Adhesive Backed Gems and the card was complete.

The basecard is Pool Party.  Then a layer of Bermuda Bay dry embossed using the Woodlands Embossing Folder.  Then I use of the Peek-A-Hoot dies which created the three cutouts for the images and sentiment.

The two owl images are stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the Pool Party Layer.  I outlined the cutouts lightly in pencil and then stamped the images on the Pool Party Basecard, and erased the pencil outlines after I was sure my stamped images were dry.  floral image is from the February 2020 Paper Pumpkin Lovely Day Stamp Set.

I used a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to ink all the words in the sentiment except Christmas.  Then I used a stamp from the Snowflake Wishes for just the word Hanukkah.  Again, I used the Basic black Stampin' Write Marker to ink just the word I wanted to use, and stamped it on Whisper White cardstock.  I used the Peek-A-Hoot Dies and use the one opening to cut out the sentiment.  I mounted it on Dimensionals and added it to the card.  I scattered a few Blue Adhesive Backed Gems to add bling.

New catalogs coming January 2021

I've placed an order for new catalogs for my customers who have purchased from me in the past 6 months and you will receive them towards the end of December. You'll receive both the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.

Unfortunately, when Stampin' Up! changed their customer ordering system earlier this year, if you did not sign up to receive mailings from Stampin' Up!, I can no longer send you mailing, as the system doesn't allow me to see your address in the system.  Please log into your account on the Stampin' Up! site and ensure that you have indicated that you will receive mailings from Stampin' Up!, so that new catalogs can be mailed to you.   Then, contact me so I'm alerted to the change and I can send you the new catalogs once my order of new catalogs arrives this month.

If you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, and you would like to receive a new January-June 2021 Mini Catalog and a Sale-A-Bration Brochure, You'll receive the new catalogs mid to late December, ready for customer purchases 5 January 2021.  Contact me today for your copy.

Stampin' Up! Floral greeting card using Tasteful Touches Stamp Set

  • Stampin' Up! Tasteful Touches Stamp Set
  • Stamping Up! Forever Fern Stamp Set.
  • Final few days of Designer Series Paper Sale
I love the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper from Stamping Up. The designs are a collection of beautiful home décor kitchen tile and marble backsplashes and bathroom tile ideas in chevron patterns and unexpected and interesting colors and designs.  And you can save on a pack or two of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper during the final days of the Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper Sale that ends on October 31.  I paired this lovely paper with images from the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set and from the Forever Fern Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight and Smoky Slate.  Then I used the Tasteful Labels dies to  create a lovely sentiment label for the card.  You'll have fun creating your own handmade cards using these fun elements.

The basecard for this card is Basic Gray Cardstock.  Then a layer of Misty Moonlight and then a chevron print from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper pack.  And this Paper is on sale as part of the Designer Series Paper Sale until October 31, 2020.

Gray and Blue card using Tasteful Touches Stamp Set

I used the Tasteful Touches Stamp set and stamp two of the flowers using Misty Moonlight ink and then fussy cut them.  I also used the feather from Tasteful Touches Stamp Set to create an interesting background for my sentiment label.  I die cut one of the labels from the Tasteful Labels Dies to fit the sentiment I selected, and stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink.

Two versions of a cards made using Stampin' Up! Tasteful Touches Stamp Set

I stamped some of the foliage from the Forever Fern Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight and others in Smoky Slate, and then die cut them using dies from the Forever Flourishing Dies.  I used different foliage on each card based on the sentiment label I selected.  I mounted the flowers and sentiment labels on Dimensionals.  I glued the foliage flat onto the card surface.  To add a little bling, I added Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems to the sentiment labels.
