Mother's Day has a way of sneaking up on us--one minute it's April, an the next you're wondering how many cards you can make in a single afternoon without gluing your fingers together.  This year, I leaned into soft pastels and delicate wildflowers from the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper, with just enough Gold Foil to make everything feel a little extra special (because moms deserve nothing less.)  One of the perks of being a crafter for over 20 years is having a thoughtfully curated stash at my fingertips--those little treasures that add personality and heart to every cards.  Whether you're celebrating seasoned moms or those brand-new to the club, this design is simple, elegant, and easy to duplicate.  And honestly, the Lovely & Beautiful paper is so versatile, you'll find yourself reaching for it again for weddings, spring celebrations, and memory filled scrapbook pages.  You'll want to check out the entire Lovely and Beautiful Suite for additional lovely coordinating stamps, dies, ephemera and accessories.

You can tailor your card layout to showcase the area of the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper you most like.  Additionally, I die cut florals from the Charming Prints Dies to add an additional Gold Foil accent to the layout.  I cut the die cut in half and used different portions on each card. The sentiment die from the Natural Prints Dies does not have a larger layer, so I fussy cut a Gold Foil layer to place behind the Basic White sentiment.

The card base for this card is Petal Pink Cardstock.  Then a layer of Gold Foil, and then the Lovely & Beautiful 12 X 12 Designer Series Specialty Paper.

Die cut Sentiment label is from the Natural Prints Dies, The Gold Foil floral die cut is from Charming Day Dies, and the Gold Foil twig at the bottom of the sentiment is from the Beautifully Celebrated Dies, Which is part of the Lovely & Beautiful Suite.  The sentiment is Stamped in Old Olive Ink and the sentiment is from the Celebrating You Stamp Set.
