Share What You Love Suite . . . Again...Spotlighting the Lovely Florals Embossing Folder

  • Share What You Love Early Release coming May 1-31
  • Sneak Peek at the early release Share What You Love bundles
  • Color Revamp and Last Chance products

Share What You Love Early Release

One of the new items in the Share What You Love Suite is the Lovely Floral Embossing Folder.  Today's card highlights this new folder and and one of the new In Colors, Grapefruit Grove.  This Share What You Love Suite as I've mentioned in previous posts, is from the upcoming Stampin' Up! annual catalog coming out June 1.  However, demonstrators already have early access to this suite, and customers will be able to order this early release suite of products May 1-31.

The early release of this suite from Stampin' Up! will include a bundle for a newer stamper with limited supplies, a bundle for a stamper who owns more supplies, and a bundle for those stampers who want it all.  Today, I'm using the Lovely Floral Embossing Folder to dry emboss the flower image, then I'm using  Love What You Do stamp set, the new Grapefruit Grove ink pad along with Old Olive ink pad and other Stampin' Up! supplies to showcase another look with the Share What You Love Prerelease Suite.

Today's card uses a basecard of Grapefruit Grove, then a layer of Very Vanilla, Then another layer of Grapefruit Grove,

The Very Vanilla image block is dry embossed with the Lovely Florals embossing folder.  Then the raised image is swirled with Grapefruit Grove ink and Old Olive ink using sponge daubers.

I stamped one of the sentiments from the Share What You Love stamp set and fussy cut only the word "friend" from the sentiment.  I popped the word on Mini Dimensionals and added it to the front of the card.  The sentiment was stamped with Old Olive ink pad on Very Vanilla.

I've enjoyed working with the Share What You Love Suite over the past couple of weeks.  And I'm just getting started!  This suite includes Designer Series Papers, ribbons and other accessories, which I'm looking forward to using.  All of the cards I've created so far have been created with minimal supplies.  This suite is a great suite if you're just getting started.  It's also a wonderful suite for the experienced stamper as it includes a second stamp set with Stampin' Up! copyright, if you're making cards to sell, and several other sentiments for the back of your cards.  You'll love adding this beautiful suite to your collection when it becomes available May 1.

Take a look below at what's in each bundle.  There are three bundles plus the 5 new In Color stamp pads that are part of this early release offer.

The first Share What you Love Bundle is for a crafter with limited supplies who is just beginning to experience the joy of creativity.

The second bundle is for crafters looking to hone their skills with a few more items to help you push your creative boundaries without pushing you over the edge.  This  bundle will include not only the Love What you Do Stamp set, but a unique alphabet stamp set as well as several other new catalog items.

The third bundle is for those who have to have it all. The Share What you Love Specialty Designer Series Paper in this bundle is a double set.  Normally our 12 X 12 Designer Series Paper include 12 sheets.  This set of Specialty paper contains 24 sheet!   Each bundle comes with one, two or three free items that coordinate with your bundle.

You're going to want to get your hands on this bundle to update your stampin' stash with some of the latest colors, papers and stamp sets.  Watch for more ideas for using this suite in a few days.  Set you budget for next month to include one of these bundles and the 5 new In Color stamp pads.  The new In Color Stamp pads are available to order May 1-31, also, and you'll save 10% when you purchase these lovely new In Colors stamp pads between May 1-31.  These In Colors are packaged in the new style stamp cases, which are part of the Color Revamp in the new, June catalog.

Share What You Love Prerelease -- coming soon

In May, Stampin' Up! is offering a Prerelease suite from the new catalog coming out in June.  The Suite is called Share What you Love, and there will be exclusive bundles for new crafter, a bundle for a stamper who owns more supplies, and a bundles for those stampers who want it all.  Today, I'm using the Love What You Do stamp set, the new Grapefruit Grove ink pad along with Old Olives ink and the coordinating Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder -- all from the Share What You Love Prerelease Suite -- to create this lovely card.

Today's card uses a basecard of Old Olive, then a layer of Very Vanilla dry embossed with the Lovely Floral Embossing Folder.  The image block is Very Vanilla with a mat of Old Olive.

The flowers are stamped in one of the new In Colors, Grapefruit Grove.  Then I stamped it again on Very Vanilla and cut out the flower heads and popped them on dimensionals and added them to the card.

The Old Olive background was created by stamping off one of the background elements in this stamp set. There are also smaller backgrounds stamps to color the flowers.

The "Thank You" was stamped on Very Vanilla and the stems from the stamp set were stamped full strength in Old Olive.

I used the Pretty Label punch to punch out the sentiment.  Then I trimmed the top and bottom off the punched element to create a better shape for this card.  The sentiment is famed at the top and bottom with a piece of Old Olive.

Love What You Do stamp set will be part of
prerelease bundles available May

I created a series of cards using this early release stamp set and limited supplies earlier this week.  Stampin' Up will offer a basic bundle for a new crafter just beginning to experience the joy of creativity.

Today's card uses a few more supplies, including the coordinated embossing folder.

There will be a bundle for crafters looking to hone their skills with a few more items to help you push your creative boundaries without pushing you over the edge.  That bundle will include not only the Love What you Do Stamp set, but a unique alphabet stamp set as well and several other new catalog items.

Then there is a bundle for those who have to have it all.  Each bundle come with one, two or three free items that coordinate with your bundle.  You're going to love these early release bundles.  You'll hear more about them in a few days.  Get ready to order your prerelease bundle May 1.

Color Revamp Details

You'll want to know which colors are retiring, which colors will be added, and there are even a few retired colors that will return to the core colors.  Read about all the Color Revamp changes here.

What's retiring on the Last-Chance Products Lists

The released the Last-Chance Product Lists is always filled with anticipation as well as sadness.  Start marking up your current catalogs so you know which items will retire so you can order your favorites before they're gone.  With the new Annual Catalog coming June 2, you'll want to know which current products will retire and which will carry over to the new catalog year.

To view all of the retiring products, visit my online store.  This is your best source to see if the product you want is still available.  As items sell out, they will no longer be listed in my online store.

To download the .pdf versions of the Last-Chance Lists, click the links below each image below.

Most items are only available until they sell out.  Stamp sets will be available until May 25.

Clarification:  Bundles that carry over to the new catalog are on the retired list because they will no longer receive special bundle pricing.  They will only be priced as individual items.  If you want a bundle listed in the current catalogs, purchase the bundles now from the current catalogs to ensure you receive the 10% bundle savings listed in the current catalog.

Clarification:  All of the ink pads are on the Last-Chance List. But don't worry, or panic like I did when I saw them on the Last-Chance List.  Not all the ink pad colors are retiring.  Stampin' Up! is improving its ink pad cases as the dies for making the ink pad cases are coming to their end-of-life. Stampin' Up! is using this as an opportunity to improve the design, and to do it at the same time as the Color Revamp to reduce the number of overall changes to the product line.

The new ink pad cases will still fit your Stampin' Up! Color Caddy, although a bit more roomy, so don't spin it too fast.  The covers will fit tighter and they will open more easily with less chance of the cover separating for the pad while opening.   Stampin' Up! is also adding a defoamer to the ink to reduce bubbles and to give cleaner stamped images.  The new reinkers will include the defoamer.  You will only want to use the new reinkers with your new stamp pads.  The existing reinkers do not include a defoamer.
