Share What You Love Prerelease -- coming soon

In May, Stampin' Up! is offering a Prerelease suite from the new catalog coming out in June.  The Suite is called Share What you Love, and there will be exclusive bundles for new crafter, a bundle for a stamper who owns more supplies, and a bundles for those stampers who want it all.  Today, I'm using the Love What You Do stamp set, the new Grapefruit Grove ink pad along with Old Olives ink and the coordinating Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder -- all from the Share What You Love Prerelease Suite -- to create this lovely card.

Today's card uses a basecard of Old Olive, then a layer of Very Vanilla dry embossed with the Lovely Floral Embossing Folder.  The image block is Very Vanilla with a mat of Old Olive.

The flowers are stamped in one of the new In Colors, Grapefruit Grove.  Then I stamped it again on Very Vanilla and cut out the flower heads and popped them on dimensionals and added them to the card.

The Old Olive background was created by stamping off one of the background elements in this stamp set. There are also smaller backgrounds stamps to color the flowers.

The "Thank You" was stamped on Very Vanilla and the stems from the stamp set were stamped full strength in Old Olive.

I used the Pretty Label punch to punch out the sentiment.  Then I trimmed the top and bottom off the punched element to create a better shape for this card.  The sentiment is famed at the top and bottom with a piece of Old Olive.

Love What You Do stamp set will be part of
prerelease bundles available May
1

I created a series of cards using this early release stamp set and limited supplies earlier this week.  Stampin' Up will offer a basic bundle for a new crafter just beginning to experience the joy of creativity.

Today's card uses a few more supplies, including the coordinated embossing folder.

There will be a bundle for crafters looking to hone their skills with a few more items to help you push your creative boundaries without pushing you over the edge.  That bundle will include not only the Love What you Do Stamp set, but a unique alphabet stamp set as well and several other new catalog items.

Then there is a bundle for those who have to have it all.  Each bundle come with one, two or three free items that coordinate with your bundle.  You're going to love these early release bundles.  You'll hear more about them in a few days.  Get ready to order your prerelease bundle May 1.

Color Revamp Details

You'll want to know which colors are retiring, which colors will be added, and there are even a few retired colors that will return to the core colors.  Read about all the Color Revamp changes here.

There is also news about updates to the Stampin' Up! stamp pads and stamp pad cases as well.  See the changes planned for products in the June catalog.

What's retiring on the Last-Chance Products Lists

The released the Last-Chance Product Lists is always filled with anticipation as well as sadness.  Start marking up your current catalogs so you know which items will retire so you can order your favorites before they're gone.  With the new Annual Catalog coming June 2, you'll want to know which current products will retire and which will carry over to the new catalog year.

To view all of the retiring products, visit my online store.  This is your best source to see if the product you want is still available.  As items sell out, they will no longer be listed in my online store.

To download the .pdf versions of the Last-Chance Lists, click the links below each image below.

Most items are only available until they sell out.  Stamp sets will be available until May 25.

Clarification:  Bundles that carry over to the new catalog are on the retired list because they will no longer receive special bundle pricing.  They will only be priced as individual items.  If you want a bundle listed in the current catalogs, purchase the bundles now from the current catalogs to ensure you receive the 10% bundle savings listed in the current catalog.

Clarification:  All of the ink pads are on the Last-Chance List. But don't worry, or panic like I did when I saw them on the Last-Chance List.  Not all the ink pad colors are retiring.  Stampin' Up! is improving its ink pad cases as the dies for making the ink pad cases are coming to their end-of-life. Stampin' Up! is using this as an opportunity to improve the design, and to do it at the same time as the Color Revamp to reduce the number of overall changes to the product line.

The new ink pad cases will still fit your Stampin' Up! Color Caddy, although a bit more roomy, so don't spin it too fast.  The covers will fit tighter and they will open more easily with less chance of the cover separating for the pad while opening.   Stampin' Up! is also adding a defoamer to the ink to reduce bubbles and to give cleaner stamped images.  The new reinkers will include the defoamer.  You will only want to use the new reinkers with your new stamp pads.  The existing reinkers do not include a defoamer.
