I love combining stamp sets and products across the Stampin' Up! product line. Options abound for choosing sentiments and images that can be put together to express your feelings for someone specials. Today I'm using the Love for You Stamp Set along with the Adorable Owls Stamp Set to create last-minute Valentine cards or an Anniversary card. The Much Love Stamp Set includes a wide variety of sentiments including Congratulations, Friend, Thanks and my favorite: "Nobody gets me like you get me". I used a Balmy Blue, Basic White, and Sweet Sorbet color theme along with Designer Series Paper from the Country Floral Lane Designer Series paper Pack. I stamped one of the Adorable Owls and colored him with Soft Suede, Light Pale Papaya, Light Pumpkin Pie, and Balmy Blue Blends alcohol-based markers. I used the heart dies from the Share A Milkshake Dies to die cut the Sweet Sorbet Hearts for my sentiment layer. One Tip: I did find that I got better ink coverage for the "Much Love" by using my Stamparatus and stamping the words twice.
The basecard for today's card is Balmy Blue Cardstock. Then a layer of Basic White Cardstock, and then a layer of a Balmy Blue heart prints from the Country Floral Lane 12" X 12" Designer Series paper. I used a the largest circle die from the Stylish Shape Dies to die cut a circle from the Balmy Blue Heart Print leaving a Basic White area for my sentiment and hearts.
Next, I used my Stamparatus to stamp the words Much Love from the Love For You Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I covered the word "so" with a sticky note, inked the words "Much Love", and removed the sticky note before stamping. I covered the word "so" a second time, and inked and stamped the 'Much Love" words a second time for full ink coverage. Then I die cut Sweet Sorbet Cardstock hearts using the Share A Milkshake Dies. I added several hearts to my sentiment layer.
