While waiting for my third new catalog order to arrive, I took a peek at the inventory list and noticed the Coneflower Celebration Bundler(Item #165251) was running low. Before it disappears, I wanted to showcase this elegant Z fold card design featuring the stunning Coneflower Celebration stamp set and dies. Some occasions call for a card that feels truly extraordinary -- a keepsake your loved ones will treasure long after it's received-- and this sophisticated bundle makes creating those memorable handmade cards effortless. While this upscale fold does require a bit more time and craftsmanship, the finished result is well worth it. Once you've mastered this design, you'll be inspired to pair it with other luxurious embossing folders and designer series papers from your carefully curated craft collection to make several more.
Card folds flat for mailing
The card base for this card is 5-1/2" X 7-1/4" Crumb Cake Cardstock, scored at 1-1/2 X 3". Four more Crumb Cake Cardstock strips cut at 1" X 7-1/4 and scored at 1-1/2" and 3" create the four Z strips. Then select layers you wish to add or dry emboss to create the look you desire. I used additional layers of Crumb Cake--plain and embossed with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder--, Early Expresso Cardstock layers, and Woven Textures Designer Series Paper in a burlap pattern to complete this layout.
Use the Coneflower Celebration stamp and dies to cut:- and stamp an Old Olive stem and die cut the leaf
- the flower in Crushed Curry petal layer
- the center of the flower from Early Espresso cardstock
Fold the flower in half and curl the Crush curry bottom edge of the top flower using a bone folder. Then lay the stem inside and secure the flower closed with Dimensionals before adding it to the card front. Apply Crushed Curry ink to the bottom edges of the petals to add dimension. Select a sentiment stamp, and stamp it in Early Espresso on Crumb Cake Cardstock and mount on an Early Espresso matte.

Create a large sentiment area on the back of your card for a personalized message using a matte of Early Espresso and a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock decorated with an additional piece of Woven Textures Designer Series Paper.
