Today, I'm showcasing three cards using the Hippest Hippos Stamp Set and the Hippos Dies. You'll love creating scenes with Hippest Hippo having fun in the sun, or tub or boat or under an umbrella. Taking a closer look at each card, this first card uses a base card of So Saffron Cardstock. Then a print from the Lights Aglow 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper. The image area is piece of Polished Pink matted in Cherry Cobbler Cardstock. The image area includes a piece of draping which is another Lights Aglow Designer Series Paper Print that includes shimmery gold dots as accents. There is a vellum Cardstock piece bended to a Daffodil Delight color giving the dancing hippo a spotlight to dance in. the hippo is colored with Smoky Slate and Daffodil Delight Blends. The sentiment is matted in Gold Foil, and is stamped in Stary Sky to match the tiny Stary Sky Metallic Woven Ribbon bow around the neck of the dancing hippo. Then there are three Pearlized Enamel Effects scattered on the card front. Such a darling use of this stamp set and dies. This was a swap card created by Ann Quattrain.
For this next card, below, the basecard is Real Red cardstock. Then a layer of Very Vanilla dry embossed using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. The Very Vanilla image layer is matted in Real Red, and the hippo from the Hippest Hippos Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with Light and Dark Smoky Slate Blends. Did you catch that this cute hippo holding a red flower also has the cutest red toe nails?! This swap card was created by Jill Goldbach.
This final card was created by Debra Gilbert. It uses a Real Red Cardstock base. Then, the Basic White image area is matted in Coastal Cabana Cardstock. The area under the hippo image is swirled with Coastal Cabana ink, and the hipp image is mounted on Dimensionals. The dies from the Hippo Dies were used o die cut flower images in Real Red and Old olive. The centers are Basic rhinestone Jewels, which sparkle as you hold this card. The sentiment is from the Hippest Hippos Stamp Set and stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
