Classy Floral Greeting Card using Nature's Prints Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!

I enjoy playing with the Nature's Prints Stamp Set, with the coordinating Sun Prints Designer Series Paper, but it works well with other papers as well.  Today, I'm was beginning to think of Fall -- or maybe I was just wishing for cooler weather after a week of 90+ degree weather this week.  So I pulled the Nature's Print Stamp Set along with Rich Razzelberry to create today's card.  I also have been looking for a use for one of the dies in the Organic Beauty Die Set.  And, to finish off my card today, I opened my first set of Designer Series Paper and used a print from the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper Pack.   I also couldn't decide if I wanted my main image to have a shadow or to leave it plain, so I made one each way.  After seeing them, I defiantly like the one with the shadow better.  What do you think?  The Nature's Print Stamp set includes several sentiment in a beautiful font plus paint splotches to accent your designs.   I used a Light Crumb Cake Blends marker to add the shadow to the main image on one of the cards, but you could use any Light neutral color Blends. Today's card uses a base card of Thick Whisper White Cardstock.  Then a layer of Rich Razzelberry Cardstock with a grid of Rich Razzleberry die cut using the one of the Organic Beauty Dies.  I layered a piece of the Rustic Harvest 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper from the upcoming July - December 2022 Mini Catalog under the grid. 

My im age layer is a layer of Whisper White matted with a layer of Rich Razzelberry and then antoher matted layer of Whisper White.  Then I stamped one of the foliage stamps from Nature's Prints using Rich Razzelberry ink.  I used a blender pen to lightly "pull" the color on each leave to add more brightness to the color.  On one of the card, below, I added a light shadow of Crumb Cake Blends, and th eother I left plain, as I wasnt' sure which I would like better.  What do you think?

   

I die cut a Basic White circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies and samped a sentiment from Nature's Print using Rich Razzelberry Ink.  For a ltitle bling, I added three gold Brushed Metallic Dots to the corner of my image layer.

Another of of my favorite carry over sets from the previous catalog to the current annual Stampin Up! catalog is the Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set and the coordinating Penned Flowers Dies.  I had a large amount of the coordinating Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper that I wanted to use up, so I stamped one of these cards.  Don't have this paper?  No problem.  You'll find several florals in the new Design A Daydream 12" X 12" Paper Pack from the annual catalog, that will breath fresh life into this favorite stamp set.  The basecard for today's card is Pale Papaya Cardstock, and then layers of Whisper White or the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper.  The Hand-Penned Petals Stamp set includes several nice sentiment, and I also used sentiment from the Go To Greeting Stamp Set.  I used a variety of Blends to color the stamped flower from the Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set.  You'll love sending beautiful floral cards using this set.  Add it to your Shopping List today! 

Today's card uses a base card of Pale Papaya Cardstock.  Then layers of Basic White along with accents using the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper.  The floral image is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, die cut using thee coordinating Penned Flowers Dies, and cored with Blends Markers.   I love that you can color this floral image to match whichever Designer Series Paper you're using.

The bling is from the Genial Gems (retired) package, a coordinating product hen the Hand-Penned Suite was initially use, which I also wanted to finish using.  If you have several sheets of the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper remaining, this is a great design for showcasing the paper and the current Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set.  However, you'll find several new floral prints or geometric patterns that will work beautifully with this stamp set.
