Today I have three more cards from a recent Demonstrator swap I participated in, and these cards use the new Soft Succulent In Color from the 2021-2023 In Color collection.  These monochromatic cards demonstrate techniques to help you quickly create cards with minimum tools and colors.  Of course, I love the florals, .  Plus, I'm so happy to see the center card which showcases several of the prints in  the 2021-2023 In Color 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper Pack.  This is a great use of the remaining pieces when you've used a 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper to create a 5-1/2 X 4" card layer.  These remaining 1/2" strips use up your scraps while creating a colorful, fun card.   Take a look at the closeups of each card to see the enjoyable details each designer  added to their card.  Then, be sure to add Soft Succulent inks, papers, ribbons and accessories to your next Stampin' Up! order.  If you haven't tried the new In Color cardstock, you can order an assortment package of just a few sheets of each of the new In Color.  Then pick your favorite colors and order a full pack of the color(s) you like the most from the new In Color collection.

The card, below, uses a number of different prints from the 6" X 6"  In Color Designer Series Paper Pack along with stripes of the Soft Succulent Shimmer Vellum from the !2" X 12" Shimmer Vellum In Color pack.  The basecard is Soft Succulent, then a layer of Basic White Cardstock dry embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  Then another layer of Soft Succulent, and then the image layer is another layer of Basic White Cardstock.  The Designer Series Papers and the Shimmer Vellum are 1/2" wide strips, layered across the face of the card.  The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set.  The sentiment is stamped in Soft Succulent on the Basic White Cardstock.  Accents include different size of the Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials.

This next card, below, created by Sandy Haynes, uses the Quiet Meadow Bundle and the layers are created using the Scalloped Contours Dies.  The basecard is Soft Succulent.  The image layer is Basic White.  The sentiment is also from the Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set, and it is stamped in Soft Succulent ink.  The floral stamped image is from the Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set and die cut using the Penned Flowers Dies.  A second die cut of the floral is die cut in Soft Succulent Cardstock, and it is layered slightly offset from the stamped floral image.  Then a few of the Epoxy Essentials were added.  What a masterful use of die cuts on this card!

This card, below, created by Anna Quattrin, uses a double stamping to create 3 - dimensional images.  The basecard is Thick Basic White.  Then a layer of Soft Succulent dry embossed using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder.  Then a Basic White rectangle is die cut using the Rectangle stitched Dies.  An image layer of Soft Succulent is laid inside the Basic White rectangle.  The flowers were first stamped in Evening Evergreen ink.  Then the image was slightly offset and stamped in Versamark ink.  The Versamark ink was covered with White Embossing Powder and set using the Heat tool.    A bow using the Soft Succulent 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon is a lovely touch on the corner of the image layer.

Card swaps are a great way to get your creative juices flowing.  Like the previous posts of In Color swap cards, these cards showcase the different looks you can create  with just one of the In Colors, Die Cuts, and Basic White. This is a color that reminds me nature... what you see when you're hiking, or camping. You can order any of these items by clicking elements below
