Today's card was pulled together with new items you're sure to love for creating Fall cards. I pull a piece of Soft Succulent Designer Series Paper to use with the new Stampin' Up! Hello Harvest Bundle from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up! This card layout seemed to make itself, as I die cut a couple of pumpkins using the Stampin' Up! Rustic Pumpkin Dies, including the stem sprigs on the pumpkin stems and the sentiment ribbon. To add a bit of unexpected artistic flair, I used one of the elements in the Chic Dies and Vellum Cardstock to create a background for my pumpkins. I used Blends alcohol-based Markers to color my pumpkins and also to color my sentiment banner. I think the shading from the Blends Markers gave the banner a more realistic look. I can't wait to use this set more. Fall colors just make my eyes happy, and the Stampin' Up! Hello Harvest Bundle will be one of my favorites this fall.
Today's card uses a basecard of Thick Basic White Cardstock. Then a print from the 2021-2023 6" X 6" Designer In Color Paper Pack was added. My next layer was die cut using one of the dies in the Chic Die set. I die cut a piece of Vellum Cardstock with this die, which allowed the pattern from the Designer Series Paper to show through, yet the die cut vellum added an interesting texture to the card.
I stamped two pumpkins and the sentiment label in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Next, I die cut them using the Rustic Pumpkin Dies, and then I colored the die cut images with Blends Markers. I used Pumpkin Pie Markers and Soft Suede Blends Markers on one Pumpkin and Soft Succulent and Soft Suede Blends Markers on the other Pumpkin. I mounted them on the Velum die cut. I also colored the sentiment banner with Soft Succulent Blends Marker, leaving the sentiment area lighter, and shading the edges of the ribbon darker I mounted the sentiment banner on Dimensionals before mounting at the top of my card. I used additional dies form the Rustic Pumpkin Dies to die cut greenery pieces around the stems of each pumpkin. This is a fast, simple layout to create if you are short of time, but want a card with a bit of flair.
