Time to create fun Halloween Cards with Banner Year Stamp Set and more

  • Stampin' Up! Banner Year Stamp Set for Halloween Cards
  • Squeaky Mouse from Special Someone Stamp Set
  • Perfect time to use your Cat Punch
  • Use Your Bonus Days Coupons by 31 August 2020
With all the new stamp sets and new products sitting on my desk, I love pairing images from different sets together to create fun cards.  And we can easily do that with Stampin' Up! products.  Today's card paired three stamp sets:  Banner Year, Special Someone, and Festive Post Stamp Sets.  I used the cute squeaky mouse from Special Someone Stamp Set along with a Black Cat from the Cat Punch to crate a scene where they are looking at a harvest moon together.  The Cajun Craze background is embossed with cobwebs, and a few bats circle near the moon.  You'll love putting together your own scenes based on the stamp sets you have in your collection.

Cat and mouse looking at the moon with a Halloween theme

The basecard for this card is Basic Black Cardstock.  Then, a layer of Very Vanilla, and next, a layer of Cajun Craze dry embossed using the Cobwebs 3D Embossing Folder.  The image layer is Very Vanilla with a Basic Black mat.  I created a window sill from a small strip of one of the designs from the Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper.  We used to have a die that punched something similar, but with a few snips of my paper snip, I was able to fashion a seat for my black cat and his squeaky friend.

I used the second to the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies to create a moon out of Tangerine Tango--a scrap I found and used before I remembered that  this color is a retired color ... (sigh), but it was so perfect with this card that I just decided to use it.  I will probably use Mango Melody when I remake this card.

I punched the black cat out of Basic Black Cardstock and popped it up on Dimensionals.  I stamped the mouse from Special Someone Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto the Tangerine Tango circle, and filled in the image with a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to turn it into a silhouette.

I stamped the sentiment from the Banner Year Stamp Set and the bats from the Festive Post Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black.  Then I used the Dark Basic Black Stampin' Blends to color three Metallic Pearls and added them to the outside of the moon.

Create fun Gift Card Holders using the Stampin' Up! Warm Hugs Bundle

  • Cute mugs using the Warm Hugs Stamp Set
  • Coordinating Warm Wraps Dies make cutting small items easy
  • Swirly Frames Stamp Set should be a staple in your stamp collection
  • Many Medallions Dies create interesting die cut elements

It's getting to that time of the year when you need gift card holders or chocolate treat holders for Teacher Gifts, Birthdays, Thank You's, Holiday Greetings, etc.  Today, I used the coffee mug from the Warm Hugs Stamp Set to create a gift card holder perfect for your Fall and Winter gift needs.  I used the Swirly Frame Stamp Set and an assortment of fun ink colors, including Highland Heather, Terracotta Tile, Bumblebee, and Coastal Cabana to create a card with an inside pocket perfect for holding gift cards, a business card, or a flat chocolate like Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares.  You'll have fun coming up with your own ideas for color combinations and decorative die cuts to personalize cards from you to someone special.

Coffee mugs on card from gift card holder

The basecard for this card is Sahara Sand Cardstock.  Then a layer of Terracotta Tile Cardstock, and the image layer is Whisper White Cardstock.  The inside of the cards uses the same cardstock layers, stamps and die cuts, and includes a sentiment from the

Coffee mugs card using Warm Hugs Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!

I used the Swirly Frames Stamp Set and stamped the square in Highland Heather, Terracotta Tile, Bumblebee and Coastal Cabana inks to create patterns all over the card front.  Then I used the mug stamp from Warm Hugs using the same ink colors to stamp a color and a snowflake on each cup.  The cups outlines were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  One of the dies in Warm Wraps Dies cuts out these cute mugs.  (Yeah!  you don't have to fussy cut them!)

Two coffee mug card front crads

The sentiment is also from the Warm Hugs Stamp Set, and it is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then die cut using one of the coordinating dies from the Warm Wraps Dies.  The Whisper White layer on the edges of the card were dry embossed using Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  Then a Highland Heather design using one of the dies from Many Medallions accents each end panel.

Stamp sets, dies and inks used to create a gift card holder with coffee mugs

You'll enjoy creating fun Gift Card Holder or Business Card Holders using this card as an idea starter.  The Warm Hugs stamp set and coordinating dies includes several elements in addition to the coffee mugs.  There's a star a Christmas Tree, a heart  and candy canes.  Select your favorites and use the sentiments and elements in this stamp set to share your Fall and holiday happiness with those around you. And purchasing the Warm Hugs Bundle will save you 10% over purchasing the stamp set and coordinating dies as separate items. Add this stamp set and coordinating dies to your Shopping List today.
