Create fun Gift Card Holders using the Stampin' Up! Warm Hugs Bundle

  • Cute mugs using the Warm Hugs Stamp Set
  • Coordinating Warm Wraps Dies make cutting small items easy
  • Swirly Frames Stamp Set should be a staple in your stamp collection
  • Many Medallions Dies create interesting die cut elements

It's getting to that time of the year when you need gift card holders or chocolate treat holders for Teacher Gifts, Birthdays, Thank You's, Holiday Greetings, etc.  Today, I used the coffee mug from the Warm Hugs Stamp Set to create a gift card holder perfect for your Fall and Winter gift needs.  I used the Swirly Frame Stamp Set and an assortment of fun ink colors, including Highland Heather, Terracotta Tile, Bumblebee, and Coastal Cabana to create a card with an inside pocket perfect for holding gift cards, a business card, or a flat chocolate like Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares.  You'll have fun coming up with your own ideas for color combinations and decorative die cuts to personalize cards from you to someone special.

Coffee mugs on card from gift card holder

The basecard for this card is Sahara Sand Cardstock.  Then a layer of Terracotta Tile Cardstock, and the image layer is Whisper White Cardstock.  The inside of the cards uses the same cardstock layers, stamps and die cuts, and includes a sentiment from the

Coffee mugs card using Warm Hugs Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!

I used the Swirly Frames Stamp Set and stamped the square in Highland Heather, Terracotta Tile, Bumblebee and Coastal Cabana inks to create patterns all over the card front.  Then I used the mug stamp from Warm Hugs using the same ink colors to stamp a color and a snowflake on each cup.  The cups outlines were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  One of the dies in Warm Wraps Dies cuts out these cute mugs.  (Yeah!  you don't have to fussy cut them!)

The sentiment is also from the Warm Hugs Stamp Set, and it is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then die cut using one of the coordinating dies from the Warm Wraps Dies.  The Whisper White layer on the edges of the card were dry embossed using Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  Then a Highland Heather design using one of the dies from Many Medallions accents each end panel.

You'll enjoy creating fun Gift Card Holder or Business Card Holders using this card as an idea starter.  The Warm Hugs stamp set and coordinating dies includes several elements in addition to the coffee mugs.  There's a star a Christmas Tree, a heart  and candy canes.  Select your favorites and use the sentiments and elements in this stamp set to share your Fall and holiday happiness with those around you. And purchasing the Warm Hugs Bundle will save you 10% over purchasing the stamp set and coordinating dies as separate items. Add this stamp set and coordinating dies to your Shopping List today.

Create a card with greenery using the Stampin' Up! Forever Fern Stamp Set

  • Forever Fern Stamp Set
  • Coordinating Forever Flourishing Dies

Here's a fun card I created using the Forever Fern Bundle from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  Most of the samples I've seen use wonderful shades of Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz, Just Jade, Pretty Peacock, and Shaded Spruce, but I wanted to use some different colors to show that the Forever Fern Stamp Set is more versatile than just using it for greenery.  I love how this turned out.  The Forever Fern Stamp Set is a Distinktive stamp set which means it has details that looks like you you used multiple stamps to create the detailed shading acquired with just one pass with a Distinktive stamp.  Distinktive stamps are a patented product, exclusive to Stampin' Up!.  Event new stampers will find that Distinktive stamps easy to use with great results.

Card idea using alternative colors for Stampin' Up! Forever Fern Stamp Set

The basecard for this card is Gray Granite Cardstock.  Then a layer of Merry Merlot, and the image layer is Whisper White.

Birthday card using Stampin' Up! Forever Fern Stamp Set

I used the three different Forever Fern Stamp Set and the Forever Flourishing Dies to create a variety of stems and berries in Petal Pink, Gray Granite and Petal Pink.  I glued several flat onto the Whisper White layer.  Others I popped up on Mini Stampin' Dimensionals and Dimensionals.

To finish the card, I Stamped a sentiment in Merry Merlot onto a label made with a Rectangle Stitched Die.  Then I created a White bow using the White ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season ribbon Combo Pack.  To add a little bling, I included three of the White Faceted Gems from the Elegant Faceted Gems pack.
