Prepare for the Holidays with Stylish Stampin' Up! Cards

I take delight in using non-traditional colors for Christmas for some of my holiday cards.  Today, I'm using Seaside Spray with Feels Like Frost Specialty 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper to make this incredibly simple, yet charming Christmas Card.  And we're making it in our class this week end (see details more below). The Feels like Frost Designer Series Papers has so many dazzling wintry scenes.  Then, the reverse side of these papers are gorgeous Silver and White foil prints.  You'll find yourself making stunning cards your family and friends will display long after the holidays are over.

Today's card uses a basecard of Seaside Spray cardstock dry embossed with the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder.  The the image layer is matted in Whisper White Cardstock.  The print is from the Feels Like Frost Specialty 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper.

For the sentiments, I used the Frosted Bouquet Dies to cut a Whisper White mat and then a smaller die from that set to die cut the Seaside Spray layer.  The sentiments are stamped in Versamark ink and then covered with White Emboss Powder and heated with my Heat Tool until set.  The edges of the sentiment label are accent with Silver Metallic Pearls.

The edges of the sentiment layer include more die cuts from the Frosted Bouquet Dies.

The left side of the card includes a knot of Seaside Spray 1/4" Metallic Ribbon.

This is another card design you could make in bulk.  As we get closer to the mailing date for Holiday cards, you'll want to book mark a few of your favorite fast, easy cards that also appeal to your design aesthetics.    Your loved ones will enjoy receiving a handmade card from you made with these products.  And, you'll love everything you make with the beautiful Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper.
