Stampin' Up! Ornate Garden Suite

Since all of the Ornate Garden Suite was still on my work space after creating yesterday's cards, I decided to create another set of cards using the same basic stamp sets and dies.  However, I created a completely different look with the with the addition of one of the prints form the Ornate Garden Suite Designer Series Paper.  The print I chose was a Old Olive flower print on Pear Pizzazz.  I used the Ornate Layers Dies to create a frame for my stamped image  Although this was the same stamped image I used on yesterday's card.  Today I stamped the image on Whisper White and used Blends Markers to color the image.  Then I added a sentiment and an Old Olive ribbon from the suite and my cards were finished!  The greens in this card just seem to jump off the page and make my eyes happy.

As I mentioned, the basecard for this card is Pear Pizzazz.  Then a layer of Old Olive.  Next is a print layer form the Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper Pack.  For the image layer, I created a Basic Black Frame using Basic Black cardstock and the Ornate Layers Dies.

The image from the Ornate Style Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Whisper White cardstock.  Then I used an assortment of Stampin' Blends Markers to color the image.

The sentiments is stamped in Pear Pizzazz on Whisper White.  On one of the cards, I also stamped a smaller sentiment in Black along with the larger sentiment from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Die to create a label for the sentiment.  Before I assembled the card, I created a bow using the Old Olive ribbon from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack. I placed it between the frame and the colored image so that more of it would show.  It's a beautiful, soft ribbon that's very easy to work with.

As I mentioned in yesterday's blog post, the Ornate Garden Site is an early release from the Stampin' Up! June 2020 Annual Catalog.   It's available today to order.
