Cards using Butterfly Brilliance & Brilliant Wings Dies

Today I've finally found time to work with the new Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set and the coordinating Brilliant Wings Dies.  This is a preview set from the upcoming Annual Stampin' Up! catalog that is available to order now, and will also be available in the annual catalog.

This stamp set is so easy to use, the cards seem to create themselves!  In fact, I made two cards to show you today.   The first card  uses both the stamp set and Dies with a stamped and die cut background.  The second card uses only Butterfly Wings Dies with additional die cuts and a dry embossed background.

This first card uses a basecard for this card is Cherry Cobbler.  Then a layer of Basic White.  Then a layer of one of the retiring In Colors, Rococo Rose Cardstock.

I stamped the Butterfly Brilliance, which is a single stamp with all six butterflies on one large stamp.  Then I created a mat using the Brilliant Wings Dies, which cuts the shapes of the six butterflies  I laid the mat over the stamped images, and then inked them using the new Blending Brushes with Rococo Rose ink to add color to the stamped butterflies.

Then I stamped the Butterflies Brilliance Stamp onto Basic White using Rococo Rose and used the coordinating dies to die cut them, and then mounted them onto the card using Dimensionals.   I love the way the die cut butterflies retained the Rococo Rose yet also showed pieces of Basic White.  The sentiment is Stamped in Rococo Rose and is stamped on a piece of stitched die cut Basic White using the Pretty Perennials Stamp Set.

For the second card the basecard is Mint Macaron.  Then a layer of Vellum Cardstock dry embossed using the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder.

The butterflies are die cuts from Basic White using the Brilliant Wings Dies.  Then I cut a shape using the Stitched Shapes Dies, and I cut a Basic White label using the Stitched Rectangle.  I stamped the sentiment in Coastal Cabana ink. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set.

You'll love adding the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set to your collection.  The images cut so cleanly, and it is easy to create stunning cards with few supplies, or step-it-up with additional die cuts and inking techniques.   Order items to make these projects from my Stampin' Up! shopping site  24 X 7.
