I'm doing a little happy dance as I play with the Safari Celebration February 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit. I'm happy because not only do I love the pieces in this kit, but the kit contents also include pieces I know I'll be able to use to create Paper Pumpkin Alternative card ideas with little effort. In fact, I created a fun card using the images from the Flowering Rain Boots Stamp Set and coordinating Rain Boot Dies. This Paper Pumpkin kit used coordinating colors of Rich Razzelberry, Pear Pizzaz, Soft Succulent, Fresh Freesia, and Bumblebee. For my Paper Pumpkin Alternative card idea, I stuck with that set of coordinating colors and used pieces from the kit as well as die cuts from the Flowering Rain Boots Bundle including a sentiment from the Flowering Rain Boots Stamp Set. I'm extremely happy with both cards, and can't wait to send them.
For my Paper Pumpkin alternative card, I used one of the include basecards, and cut it to use as a layer for my images. I matted it in Basic White and mounted on a Fresh Freesia base card. I used the vellum stitched circle and the leaves and sentiment label from the Safari Celebration Kit. In addition, I used the boots, tulips and pots from the Flowering Rain Boots Bundle to add additional interest to the card.
To create the card from the Safari Celebration january 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit, I followed the enclosed instructions, adding the die cuts, vellum shapes and preprinted images as instructed. I stamped the sentiment using the Rich Razzelberry Spot included with the January Paper Pumpkin Kit. I love how all items for completing your cards are included in the kit. All you need is adhesive and a clear block for your stamps. This kit includes several sentiments you find useful.
