Spring card idea using hexagon shapes from Stampin' Up! Beautiful Shapes Dies

  • Stampin' Up! Beautiful Shapes Dies
  • New Beginnings Paper Pumpkin Kit for April 2022
  • 20% discount on Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
Today's card uses an assortment of dies, stamp sets and papers to create these brightly colored Spring greeting cards.  The focus is on the Beautiful Shapes Dies, and the Black and White Prints from the 6" X 6" All Together Designer Series Paper, Item 160039, $11.50 USD.  This paper is part of a new collection called All Together, which includes stamps, natural tones Stampin' Blends, and Papers including the All Together Designer Series Paper. This paper includes 12 double sided (24 different black and white prints or images) you'll love creating with this Spring.  All Together Suite Collection isn't in the catalog, but you'll find the link here to learn more.  I matted each of the Black and White prints in Basic white and then created Black and Bumblebee layers for my card. I found that almost any horizontal sentiment from any of your stamp sets will work with this layout, so go ahead and experiment with a Bumblebee Cardstock shape and your favorite sentiment stamp.

Spring Greeting Card idea using Hexigon shapes created with the Stampin' Up! Beautiful Shapes Dies and All Together Designer Series Paper

To create today's card, I used a base card of Bumblebee Cardstock.  Then I added a layer of Basic Black, and then Basic White.  I added a strip of the Bumblebee print from the Daffodil Afternoon 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper.  Although Sale-A-Bration is over, I'm enjoying the free selection of Daffodil Afternoon DSP.

Then, I used the Scalloped Contours Dies to create a Basic Black rectangle.  I used two sizes of the Beautiful Shapes Dies to create the three different black and white prints from the All Together Designer Series Paper, which I matted in Basic White cardstock.  I did trim down the Basic White layers as I think it looks better esthetically.  I placed the three  matted hexagn elements on the card front, and then added a small flower stamped using the Friendly Hello Stamp Set, another Sale-A-bration earned duriung Sale-A-bration that I'm finding useful after Sale-A-bration ended.

I finished the card by adding a Bumblebee sentiment layer.  I stamped sentiments in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, and added a few Matte Black Dots to my card to help tie the elements together.  Below are the elements used to create this card.
