The May 2022 Celebrate In Colors Paper Pumpkin Kit was the perfect kit for making Birthday, Graduation or Congratulation cards this season as this card kit includes gift card holders that match the designs of each In Color card in the kit. How cool is that! So, I ordered one of the Stampin' Up! coffee mugs in Stary Sky, and made a matching card with a coffee shop gift card. What a perfect gift that looks like you spent a lot of time coordinating while making use of the pre-package Paper Pumpkin Celebrate In Color Kit. I used the stamps and dies from the Nothing's Better Than... Stamp set and coordinating dies and created a series of colorful coffee cups. I used one of the die cuts in the Love You More Than...Dies to create the word Coffee, and selected two of the many fun sentiments from the Nothing's Better Than... Stamp Set. Inside, I used one of the gift cads along with a sentiment from the Go To Greetings Stamp Set. Fast, fun, and four more In Colors to play with in this Paper Pumpkin Kit. You'll enjoy using your Paper Pumpkin Kit as-is or to create your own alternatives with the contents of the kit and your Stampin' Up! stash. Today's card uses a base card of Basic White from the Paper Pumpkin May 2022 Celebrate In Color Kit. Then I used another layer from the kit with shades of Starry Sky. These layers also have splatters of Gold Foil and an uneven border edged with Gold Foil. To enhance the Gold Foil embedded on the preprinted layer from the kit, I added a thin strip of Gold Foil Sheet to break up the card face. For my sentiment layer, I die cut a Basic White stitched circle using the Beautiful Shape Dies.
I then Die cut 5 coffee mugs in different colors. Beginning at the top of the sample card, Orchid Oasis, next, Coastal Cabana, then So Saffron, next a Sweet Sorbet, and finally, Parakeet Party Cardstock. Some were glued flat, and others were mounted on Dimensionals.
I stamped sentiments from the Nothing's Better Than... Stamp Set. After die cutting the word Coffee using the Love You More Than... Dies, I mounted it on Crumb Cake Cardstock, and fussy cut around the letters to give the word Coffee more emphasis. To finish the card, I used some of the In Color Dots from the Paper Pumpkin Kit. The Go To Greetings was a sentiment I added to the inside of the card, along with the gift card holder in the same colors as the front of the card. These matching gift card holders are included in the May 2022 Celebrate In Color Paper Pumpkin Kit.
