One fun new In Color for 2022-2024 that I've fallen in love with is Parakeet Party. So it was just natural to pair this new fun color with the Pretty Birds Bundle, which features a flock of parakeets! The Birdhouse Dies include a lovely birdcage, and I used my Stamparatus to stamp the parakeets, which is a two step stamp from the Pretty Birds Stamp Set. I used the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder to create a texture on one of my Parakeet Party layers, and I created an image layer using the Beautiful Shapes Dies. I used a sentiment from the Go To Greetings, and adding a few Matte Black Dots to complete my card. And it turned out to be sucha bright, cheerful card. You'll enjoy creating unique looks with this stamp set using different die cuts, coloring medium and different accessories. Add it to your Shopping List today!
Today's card uses a base card of Parakeet Party Cardstock. Then a layer of Basic White Cardstock, and then another layer of Parakeet Party dry embossed using the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder.
I then Die cut a Basic Black bird cage using the Birdhouse Dies I used the Beautiful shapes Dies to create an image layer of Basic White matted with Basic Black. I also used the Beautiful Shapes Dies t create a die cut for my Sentiment. I used my Stamparatus to stamp the group of parakeets from the Pretty Birds Stamp Set. This is a two-step stamp. *I stamped the bird outlines in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, and then I stamped the Parakeet Party ink to color the parakeets.
I finished the card by a sentiment from the Go To Greetinug Stamp Set stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, and then I added Matte Black Dots to the corner of one of my card layers.
