Another card using Splendid Thoughts Stamps and Splendid Stems Dies + Paper Pumpkin Quiz

  • Stampin' Up! Splendid Thoughts Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies
  • Splendid Day Specialty Designer Series Paper
  • Sea If You Know Paper Pumpkin Quiz for FREE month of Paper Pumpkin!

Here's another lovely card made with the Splendid Day Suite from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up!.  This card uses the Splendid thoughts Stamp Set, the Coordinated Splendid Stems Dies as well as the Splendid Day 12" X 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper the Open Leaf Trinkets, and the Soft Sea Foam 3/8" Sea Binding Ribbon. This card showcases all of the pieces in the Splendid Day Suite, and you can see each of these items and more project samples on pages 64 and 65 in the Mini Catalog. I created the background using one of the Splendid Thoughts Stamps.  I could have created more depth or detail in the background by filling in the leaves as this is a DistINKtive Stamp Set wo\with both outline stamps and details stamps to use inside each image, giving you multiple looks with this stamp set..  This card is a fast, easy card that you'll find useful for fall occasions that are non-holidays, but very special occasions.  You'll love the variety in the Splendid Day 12" X 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper, as one side of each sheet is covered entirely in foil and white ink, and the opposite side is a plain print that compliments the foil papers.  Add this suite to your shopping list today.

Greeting card using Stampin' Up! Splendid Thoughts Suite

Today's card uses a basecard of Petal Pink Cardstock .  The basecard was stamped with one of the floral outline stamps in the Splendid Thoughts Stamp Set using Calypso Coral ink.    Then I created a Basic White image layer with a matte on the left side in Calypso Coral Cardstock.  a layer of Calypso Coral Cardstock.

Card created using Splendid Thoughts Stamp Set and Splendid Stem Dies from Stampin' Up!

I used the half-moon shape for the Splendid Stem Dies, and die cut four half-moon shapes from four pieces of Splendid Day Specialty Designer Series Paper.  This die crated stitched edges so each piece has a finished look.  I used the foil sides of each paper, but the prints on the opposite side of this Specialty Designer Series Paper would look just as attractive.  To complete the card created a bow and then wrapped the Soft Sea foam Seam Binding Ribbon around the Basic White Cardstock panel .  I stamped a sentiment on a Soft Sea Foam die cut created with a die from the Stylish Shapes Dies, and adhered one of the Open Leaf Trinkets using a Mini Glue Dot to one side of the ribbon bow.
