With Sale-A-Bration and the new mini catalog starting tomorrow, 5 January, 2023, it time to decide which Free Sale-A-Bration items you'll select with your $50 or $100 USD new catalog order. Today's card uses two of those items, the Beautifully Happy Stamp Set, item 160804 and the Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper, Item 160834 The Beautifully Happy Stamp Set is a two-step stamp set. That means you stamp the flower outlines and then there are stamps to color the flowers and buds and another stamp to stamp the color on the leaves, so the shading is done for you! This is such a beautiful set! Today I used a color theme of Fresh Freesia, Mossy Meadow and Basic White for my card. I'm using this stamp set with the Framed Florets Die so I could make a Valentine version. The "You're So Easy To Love" sentiment that comes with the Beautifully Happy Stamp Set would also work for Valentine's Day cards. I stamped the largest floral from Beautifully Happy in Mossy Meadow and then stamped the flower colors in Fresh Freesia and the leaves in Mossy Meadow. Unfortunately, there isn't a coordinating die with this stamp set, so I fussy cut it and popped it up on Dimensionals to add it to the image layer of my card. I used the heart frame from Framed Florets Dies to create the heart boarder in the Fresh Freesia polka dot paper around my image area. Then I die cut additional Basic White frames using other dies from the Framed Florets Dies. I finished my card with addition die cuts from the Framed Florets Dies, and I die cut a sentiment label using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I stamped the sentiment for the round sentiment in Rich Razzelberry. I stamped the Happy Valentine's day sentiment in Fresh Freesia. I used Gold Simply Elegant Trim to create a bow at the stems of my flowers.
The basecard for the card for today's card is Thick Basic White Cardstock. Then another layer of Basic White. Next, I selected a Fresh Freesia print from the Dainty Flowers 12" X 12" Designer series Paper, a FREE Sale-A-Bration selection,and die cut a border of hearts using the Framed Florets Dies. I used additional dies from Framed Florets to create a Basic White Frame.
I used the largest floral stamp from the Beautifully Happy Stamp Set and stamped the outline of the floral in Mossy Meadow. This is a two-step stamp, which means there are additional stamps that stamp the color inside the flowers and leaves. I stamped the flowers in Fresh Freesia and the Leaves in Mossy Meadow. I love how the two-step stamps create shading as they stamp. I cut addition die cut leaves and foliage using the Framed Florets Dies in Basic White, and glued them to the large floral image.
I stamped sentiments on two different sentimetn labels die cut using Stylish Spae Dies. I stamped the Happy Valentine's Day from the Country bouquet Stamp Set in Fresh Freesia. I stamped the sentiment from the Beautifully Happy Stamp set in Rich Razzelberry as Fresh Freesia was too light with that font. I finished the card by adding a bow in Simply Elegant trim to the stems of the floral image. I love how this card turned out. I know this card will make someone happy.
