Enchanting Stippled Roses for Speedy Handmade Greeting Cards

Here's an elegant handmade card you'll create in minutes using the Stippled Roses Stamp Set from the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog.  This Stamp set also includes Stippled Roses Dies, but today, I wanted to showcase the breathtaking beauty and simplicity of using just the Stippled Roses Stamp Set alone.  The focal point of this card are the lovely roses and leaves stamped on Very Vanilla Cardstock.  My color theme is Very Vanilla and Pecan Pie.  The Stippled Roses stamp does all the work.  I stamped the largest roses in Pecan Pie Ink the middle of the Very Vanilla image area, and added a few addition leaves on the edges of the Layer.  Then I also selected sentiments rom the Stippled Roses Stamp Set and stamped them towards the bottom of the image layer, leaving room to add a ribbon and bow of Pecan Pie 3/8" Center Stripe Ribbon, and Online Exclusive, Item # 162744 | $7.50 USD. I also added a couple of Speckled Dots (retired), that I wanted to use up, but the Champagne Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems or the Pecan Pie Opaque Ovals would also work on this card.  The warmth of these roses come to life using Pecan Pie on Very Vanilla. Thanks to my friend and fellow demonstrator, Chris Smith from Stampin' with Chris. She demonstrated this card on her Facebook recently, and went on to showcase several other coloring techniques creating stunning creations and sepia toned cards with the Stipple Roses Stamp Set.  You'll love this easy and fast technique for creating handmade greeting cards you'll be proud to send.

Creating this beautiful card beginning with a basecard of Thick Very Vanilla  Cardstock. Then, a layer of Pecan Pie Cardstock.  And finally, another layer of Very Vanilla Cardstock to use as your image area.   

Using Pecan Pie Ink on the largest stamp in Stippled Roses Stamp Set, stamp the image on the card leaving space at the bottom for a sentiment.  Then, to fill in a bit more of the image area, use the edges of the same Stipple Roses Stamp to stamp more leaves and rose buds.  Next, select sentiments from the Stippled Roses Stamp Set and stamp them on the bottom of the image layer also using Pecan Pie Ink.  Finally, add a ribbon and bow of Pecan Pie Center Stripe Ribbon from the Stampin' Up! Online Exclusives, and a couple of Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots.
