Delight in the artistry of nature with this surprise funfold Birthday Card. Blooming with Floral Charm Suite, it showcases the designer series papers' watercolor floral prints and complementary washes. The charming Day Stamp Set and Dies offer intricate die-cuts and images to add vibrant color. Hues of Blackberry Bliss, Basic White, Timid Tiger, and Old Olive create a sophisticated palette, while the Happy Birthday sentiment in Mossy Meadow Ink completes the charm. This Online Exclusive suite, introduced in July, is a must-have for your crafting collection, brimming with nature's enchanting elegance.
The cardbase for today's card is 4-1/4" X 11 Blackberry Bliss Cardstock, scored at 1" and 2" and 6-1/2". Than, select a print with Blackberry Bliss and Petal Pink florals from the Stampin' Up! Floral Charm 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper, and cut a 4" X 4" print to mount on the back panel. Next, create a 11" X 2-1/2" Panel of Timid Tiger Cardstock and score at 5-1/2". Use a complimentary watercolor wash of Timid Tiger from the Floral Charm Designer Series Paper, and mount a 5-1/4 X 2" piece to the front side of the Timid Tiger Cardstock. Fold the 1" scores on the Blackberry Bliss basecard, and glue the Timid tiger piece to the bottom edges of the Blackberry Bliss.
Using the Charming Day Stamp Set and Dies, first, stamp the small single flower and leaves image on Basic White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, die cut it with its corresponding die, and color it with Timid Tiger and Old Olive Blends Markers. Using another piece of Basic White Cardstock and the Charing Day Dies, die cut the large detailed floral and leaves image. Add both floral images to the Timid Tiger band. Select a scrap of Basic White Cardstock, and stamp the Happy Birthday from the Charing Day Stamp Set using Mossy Meadow Ink, and cut to fit your card front.
