The Floral Charm Suite Collection from Stampin' Up! offers a beautiful way to create a special card. Using the Floral Charm Designer Series Paper and the Charming Day Stamp Set, you can craft a delightful floral design that has a sophisticated, yet approachable look. This card features a double Z fancy fold layout and showcases the collections vibrant colors, including Petunia Pop, Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive, and Mossy Meadow. the Charming Day Stamp Set and Dies provide intricate floral images and sentiments, which can be colored and accented with Blends Markers. This versatile suite is perfect for creating stunning summer occasions cards for those you love.
The basecard for today's card is Petunia Pop Cardstock. Then create another layer of Z-fold base also of Petunia Pop Cardstock. Create a sentiment layer, also using Petunia Pop Cardstock as the base. See the cutting and scoring dimensions below. Each layer is covered with either a Petunia Pop floral print from the Floral Charm 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper or with a layer of Basic White Cardstock, per the photo. The Z-fold inner layers are attached only along the vertical edges.
Cutting & Scoring dimensions:
- Petunia Pop - 4-1/4 x 11, Scored at 2-3/4 and 5-1/2"
- Petunia Pop - 3-1/2 X 10-3/4, Scored at 3-1/2" and 6-1/2"
- Petunia Pop - 3-3/4" X 2-1/4"
- Basic White - 4" X 5-1/4", 3-1/4" X 4", and 2" X 3-1/2"
- Designer Series Paper: 2-1/2 X 4", 3-1/4" X 3-1/4", Pay attention to the direction of the designs on the designer series paper.
Using the Charming Day Stamp Set stamp the small single flower and leaves image on the Basic White Cardstock for the image layer using Petunia Pop Ink. Then using Petunia Pop, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow Blends, color the flower and leaves image. Use the Blackberry Bliss Blends Marker for the center of the flower. Stamp the Thanks for Being You sentiment from the Charming Day Stamp Set with Petunia Pop Ink and mount the finished image layer onto the Petunia Pop matte. Glue the image panel only along the left or right edge to the layer below it.
