Happy Birthday Stamps & Coordinating Dies
Today I'm playing with one of the free Sale-a-Bration Stamps Sets, the Happy Birthday To You Stamp Set. I'm also using the Birthday Dies, one of the coordinating products introduced in early February. I love the fact that this set can be used beyond birthdays. This card begins with a Thick Whisper White Basecard. Then a layer of Whisper White Cardstock dry embossed with the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder. Then a 2"strip of one of the prints in the Best Dress 6 x 6" Designer Series Paper. Or, if you join Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator during Sale-A-Bration, one of the free gifts in your Starter Kit is a pack of 6 X 6" paper pack that includes this prints.
Then I stamped the cake in Tuxedo Black Memento ink from the Happy Birthday To You Stamp Set onto Whisper White. I next stamped just the three flower onto Whisper White, as the Birthday Dies include a die just for the 3 flowers allowing you to add more dimension to your card. I used Highland Heather Blends, Purple Blends, Old Olive Blends, Smoky Slate Blends and Crumb Cake Blends to color the cake, cake stand, and flowers.
I also die cut two Silver elements using the Birthday Dies out of Silver Foil Sheets, and placed them behind the cake. To me this make the cake card perfect for an Anniversary or an elegant Birthday. I stamped the sentiment in Highland Heather ink on Whisper White. I die cut two rectangles with the Stitched Rectangle Dies for the sentiment.

New stampers, experienced stampers, and other Stampin' Up! demonstrators are always welcome. It's a great way to create samples, share ideas and learn from each other. We have a great bunch of stampers who enjoy joking and laughing while stamping the afternoon away.
We're using an assortment of Stampin' Up! stamps sets, die cuts and specialty papers on these cards, and you'll want to take a closer look at each of the cards we're making in this class.
