Darling Donkeys Stamp Set for all-occasions card making

I can't get enough of this cute set, one of the Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration selections, called Darling Donkeys.  I paired it with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder, the  Stitched Nested Labels Dies and the Be Mine Stitched Dies.  One of the prints from the In Good Taste Designer series Paper adds a layer of interest.   The sentiment is also from the Darling Donkeys Stamp Set, however, change it to a another sentiment and this could easily become a Valentine card.   These cute donkeys are great on birthday cards, on thinking-of-you cards, or for any occasions.

The card above uses a basecard of Smoky Slate.  Then a layer of Whisper White (Basic White), and another layer of Smoky Slate dry embossed using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.  Then I added a die cuts of Whisper White and In Good Taste Designer Series Paper cut using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

The heart images are cut using the Be Mine Stitched Dies.  The two largest hearts are cut from Misty Moonlight Cardstock, and the smallest heart is die cut from a print from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.  The donkey image from Darling Donkeys was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then fussy cut before coloring with the Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.  It is popped up on Dimensionals.  (He's sooo cute).   Three Misty Moonlight enamel dots were scattered around the image layer.

This is such a cute card!  you'll want to create several, like I did,  to have on hand to use to say "hi" to a friend, or to change up the sentiment and use as Birthday Cards or Welcome Baby, or for so many other reasons.  You can easily change the colors to more feminine colors for a baby girl or for a child's birthday.  This is one of the stamp sets you'll want to keep as a staple in your stamp collection!

Enjoy The Moment Stamp Set -- another Sneak Peek

One of the fun, new stamp sets I received with our Swag Bag from the recent Stampin' Up! virtual convention called OnStage@Home that I received last week is the Enjoy The Moment Stamp Set.  I'm using it today along with paper from the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack and Vanilla ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.  I used stamps for the new Enjoy The Moment Stamp set to create a pattern on the Crumb Cake layer of this card, and used Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Markers to add subtle shading to the image on the card.  When I first saw this set, I wasn't sure I would get much use out of it, but after playing with it for an afternoon, I'm definitely moving this set to the front of my stamp collection to keep it within easy reach.  I love the simplicity of the images and my mind is buzzing with different color combinations I want to create using this set.

The card above uses a basecard of Early Espresso Cardstock.  Then a layer of Crumb Cake Cardstock stamped off once using one of the images from the Enjoy The Moment Stamp Set.  Then I used a band of one of the prints from theGilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper.

The image layer is Very Vanilla Cardstock matted using Early Espresso.  I stamped the image in Crumb Cake ink and shaded it lightly using a Light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Marker.  I die cut a rectangle using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and stamped a sentiment from the Enjoy The Moment Stamp Set in Crumb Cake ink.

I created a bow using the Vanilla Open Weave Ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.  To finish the card I added a few of the pearlescent white gems from the Elegant Faceted Gems pack.
