Country Home Stamp Set for your Thanksgiving Card Making

  • Stampin' Up! Country Home Stamp Set
  • Stamping Up! Banner Year Stamp Set
  • Final Day of Designer Series Paper Sale - 15% off
I'm so glad when a favorite stamp set from a previous catalog carries over to another catalog.  Country Home Stamp Set was one of my favorites from last year's Stampin' Up! Fall-Winter Catalog, and it is even more fun to play with this year.  I added a sentiment from the Banner Year Stamp Set and colored the greenery  and milk can using Stampin' Blends.  I added paper from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack and a couple of Frosted Epoxy Droplets to accent my card front.  The Stampin' Up! Country Home Stamp Set includes several beautiful sentiments for the inside of your card.

The basecard for this card is Mossy Meadow.  then a layer of whisper White and a slightly smaller layer of Whisper White dry embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  A 2" strip of one of the prints from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper is layered with a 1/2" strip of Rich Razzleberry cardstock with a Frosted Epoxy droplet on each side.

I used the two stamps from the Country Home Stamp Set to stamp the milk can and the greenery.  Then I used a stamp from the Banner Year Stamp Set to stamp the Happy Thanksgiving sentiment.  All were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Then I colored the milk can using Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.  The greenery were colored using Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends, Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends and Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends.

I die cut a sentiment label using one of the dies from All Dressed Up that included stitching around the edge, which seemed to give the sentiment a more finished look.  I added Dimensionals behind the sentiment and also I mounted the entire image layer on Dimensionals.  Below are the craft items I used to create this card.

Scrapbooking Page with Country Home Stamp Set

  • Stampin' Up! Country Home Stamp Set
  • Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder
  • Good Bye Christmas Card Classes

Country Home Stamp Set for Scrapbooking pages

Thinking ahead to the photos I'll take over Thanksgiving, I decided to start some scrapbooking pages to save my holiday memories.  I started with an several similar ideas from Pinterest using the Country Home Stamp Set, and then personalized it with elements I wanted to include using several different sets of dies.

I started with an 8" X 8" piece of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock as the base for my page.  I used Crumb Cake Cardstock to mat each of my visual elements.   I used the Country Home Stamp Set to create the image on the left side of the page.  It is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with Blends alcohol markers.

The  large block on the right side uses a piece of Blackberry Bliss from the Regals 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper pack.  Then a piece of Silver Foil Sheets dry embossed with the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder.   The leaf die cuts are Blackberry Bliss die cuts from the Seasonal Layers Dies.  A sentiment from the Country Home Stamp Set is stamped onto a Whisper White Stitched Nested Labels Die Cut.

The bottom left image are die cuts from the Detailed Peacock Dies and tied with a Braided Linen Trim bow.  Next to the died flowers die cuts are embossed leaves from the Gathered Leaves Dies.  I inked the dies before die cutting/embossing the leaves.

The Pine cones in the right lower corner and the branch are from the Beautiful Boughs Dies.  The pine cones are Crumb Cake and Soft Suede.  The Branch is Shaded Spruce.

Next,  I'll make a matching page with a Blackberry Bliss base and Crumb Cake mats for my Thanksgiving photos, and I'll add sentiments to match my photos.  I love getting ahead of my needs.  It makes it so much easier to frame the photos I want to take over the Holidays and I'll have these memories for a lifetime.  You'll love creating your own holiday memories with the wide variety of stamps, embossing folders, and coordinating dies available in the Stampin' Up! catalogs.

Watch for the upcoming Stampin' Up! Online Extravaganza November 20-22,1029, and pick up the items you need to make your Holiday Scrap Book Pages. You'll love everything you make with these coordinating Holiday products.

These two classes will be my final two Christmas Card classes.  With the busy Holidays approaching, there are many activities competing for my time.  I'm hoping to get one or two classes in during December, where I'm hoping to highlight New Year's cards and Holiday crafts.  As a Stampin' Up! demonstrators, we're already looking forward to 2020 and the fun, new stamp sets we'll have for the rest of Winter, including Valentines Day, and then our Spring sets and new catalog.  We need to create our samples so you have enough time to see these new Stamps and coordinating products when the new year arrives.  You're likely to begin seeing sneak peeks from the new catalogs within the next couple of weeks!
