Country Home Stamp Set for your Thanksgiving Card Making

  • Stampin' Up! Country Home Stamp Set
  • Stamping Up! Banner Year Stamp Set
  • Final Day of Designer Series Paper Sale - 15% off
I'm so glad when a favorite stamp set from a previous catalog carries over to another catalog.  Country Home Stamp Set was one of my favorites from last year's Stampin' Up! Fall-Winter Catalog, and it is even more fun to play with this year.  I added a sentiment from the Banner Year Stamp Set and colored the greenery  and milk can using Stampin' Blends.  I added paper from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack and a couple of Frosted Epoxy Droplets to accent my card front.  The Stampin' Up! Country Home Stamp Set includes several beautiful sentiments for the inside of your card.

The basecard for this card is Mossy Meadow.  then a layer of whisper White and a slightly smaller layer of Whisper White dry embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  A 2" strip of one of the prints from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper is layered with a 1/2" strip of Rich Razzleberry cardstock with a Frosted Epoxy droplet on each side.

I used the two stamps from the Country Home Stamp Set to stamp the milk can and the greenery.  Then I used a stamp from the Banner Year Stamp Set to stamp the Happy Thanksgiving sentiment.  All were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Then I colored the milk can using Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.  The greenery were colored using Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends, Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends and Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends.

I die cut a sentiment label using one of the dies from All Dressed Up that included stitching around the edge, which seemed to give the sentiment a more finished look.  I added Dimensionals behind the sentiment and also I mounted the entire image layer on Dimensionals.  Below are the craft items I used to create this card.

You'll want to make several of these cards and have them ready to send before the Thanksgiving holiday.  And, of course, you'll want one or two to use as Thank You cards to send to your Thanksgiving hostess.  Create your own designs or CASE this design or other ideas from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog or the August - December 2020 Mini catalog.  Check the Recipe below for items used to create today's  beautiful card.   Add these stamp sets and products to your Shopping List today.

If you live in the USA and don't have a demonstrator and want a copy of the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog or a copy of the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog, contact me.   I would love to be your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

Stampin' Up! Country Home Stamp

I still had the Stampin' Up! Country Home Stamp Set sitting on my desk today, from a card I made earlier this week. So, I decide to create one more card using this wonderful set.  I decided to use a background of Tin Tile 3D embossing, and I colored the milk can with Light Night of Navy Blends.  It love this stamp set for fall cards, with the leaves changing colors and starting to fall, pumpkins, and even in Houston we're finally getting sweater weather.

The basecard for this card is Sahara Sand.  Then another layer of Sahara Sand dry embossed with the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder.  I used a sponge and Sahara Sand ink to add dimension to the embossing.

The image layer is another piece of Sahara Sand.  I stamped the milk can on a piece of Whisper White using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, including the sentiment circle and sentiments , and colored it with Light Night of Navy Blends.  The flowers were colored with a variety of Blends, including Light So Saffron Blends, Light Melody Mango Blends, Light Old Olive Blends, Dark Daffodil Delight Blends.  Then I took the Stampin' Blends Color Lifter and used it to pick up a bit of the Light Night of Navy Blends from the milk can.

I fussy cut the milk can and added it dimensionals with the 3/16" Braided Linen Trim slid underneath the milk can.  Then I added some of the new Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to the image layer. The Gold Glitter Enamel Dots just became available November 1.  You won't find the in the catalogs, but you can order them using item #152155.

You'll find the Country Home Stamp Set is a perfect Stamp Set for Fall cards.  You'll love everything you make with this lovely stamp set.
