It is beginning to feel like Fall in Texas. The stores have pumpkins stacked up high at their entrances, and I gleefully grabbed two large Pumpkins for our front porch. I love the colors of Fall. So, today, I chose to use Pumpkin Pie cardstock and Pumpkin Pie ink to create my butterfly and floral greeting cards. I'm using Delicate Dahlias, one of the the free Sale-A-Bration selections with a $100 order (less tax and shipping). This is one of Stampin' Up!'s special Distinktive stamps. It is a two step stamp that looks like you spent a lot of time coloring and shading your stamped image. However the stamps does all the work! I added a butterfly using the Brilliant Wings Dies. And I created a sentiment label using Tastefully Labels Dies.

The Basic White image layer is stamped using the Delicate Dahlias Stamp Set I stamped the outline in Cinnamon Cider ink. Then I stamped the fill layer in Pumpkin Pie Ink. I added a little more color to each flower using a Blending Brush and my Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. I used the Brilliant Wings Dies to cut a Pumpkin Pie base layer and Basic Black detailed layer. I used a bone folder to curve the wings ever so slightly, and mounted the butterfliers on Mini Dimensionals before adding them to my card front.
To finished my card, I die cut a sentiment layer using one of the Tasteful Labels Dies. I cut one in Basic White Cardstock and a second in Basic Black Cardstock. I cut the Basic Black sentiment label in half and glued it to the ends of the Basic White sentiment labels. The sentiments are from the Delicate dahlias Stamp Set and the Shaded Summer Stamp Set. I also added a Matte Black Dot to the edge of the labels. The sentiments are stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
