Stampin' Up! Beautiful Blizzard Stamp set

I'm still amazed at the beautiful cards I received as swaps in Orlando, during Stampin' Up! OnStage.  Today I'm showing you another swap I received.  Hard as I tried, I could not get a photo that captured how beautiful this card is in real life.  It is a stunning example of simplicity that can be created with the dies from the Snowfall Thinlits.  The Beautiful Blizzard Stamp set and the Snowfall Thinlits are a limited-time set that goes away at the end of November.   I'm so grateful for the time my fellow demonstrators devoted to creating these wonderful cards.

This card uses Thick Whisper White cardstock as the base card, and regular Whisper White as the next layer.  The center snowflake is die cut from Silver Glimmer Paper with the Snowfall Thinlits.

The Big Shot Embossing Mat and the largest snowflake die in the Snowfall Thinlits was used to create a debossed area under the Silver Glimmer Paper Snowflake.  The debossed area is covered with Wink of Stella creating a shimmery focal point to the center of the card.

The center of the Glimmer Paper snowflake is accented with a Clear Epoxy Droplet.

The sentiment is from the is from the Beautiful Blizzard Stamp Set, and is heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.

Stampin' Up! posted a list of Holiday Catalog items recently that had received higher-than-forecasted demand and were sold out, as well as several items with low inventory.  If you've had your eye on any items from the Holiday catalog, make sure you order soon.  Also, this Beautiful Blizzard and Snowfall Thinlits dies will disappear November 30.  Take a look at other sets and dies available in the Stampin' Up! Main Catalog as well as the Holiday Catalog.

These items from the Holiday catalogs will carry over, which means your investment in these sets will extend beyond the holidays.  There may be more carry overs, but we know about these for certain.

Stampin' Up! Snow is Glistening and Snowfall Thinlits DIes

  • Stampin' Up! Snowflake Showcase
  • Snowfall Thinlits Dies
  • Craft fun during the holidays stress-free with a Paper Pumpkin Kit

Stampin' Up! Merry Christmas To All

I'm frantically trying to wrap up all my activities before joining my fellow demonstrators in Orlando for the 30th Anniversary of Stampin' Up! Celebration.  I always dreamt that once I was retired I would have plenty of time to make swaps, arrange for sight seeing in the city where Stampin' Up! On Stage events were held, plus leave my home in a state of calm organization.

We'll, that ain't happening.    I'm still working on swaps, I still haven't decided which Orlando sites I want to see, and my closet, my office, and my craft room look like a tornado hit them! So today when I realized the day was almost over, I literally grabbed a few scraps and put together this cute card.  The Snow is Glistening Stamp set and the Snowfall Thinlits were sitting out on my desk and I think I broke a record in how little time it took me to make today's card --  a testament to how easy this set is to use!   I didn't even really think about the design.  I just grabbed what was handy, stamped, embossed, die cut, glued, and I was done.

I love the beautiful cards you can create so quickly with this special, limited time Snowflake Showcase set.  Today's card has a basecard of Crumb Cake cardstock.  Then a layer of Whisper White.  Then another layer of Crumb Cake.  I used one of the snowfall stamps from the Snow is Glistening Stamp Set to create a White Embossed background for the Whisper White Snowflake.

Then I stamped one of sentiments from the Snow is Glistening Stamp Set and white heat embossed it at the bottom of the smaller Crumb Cake layer.

Then I used the Snowfall thinlit Dies and die cut the largest snowflake from Winter White, and one of the small snowflakes from Crumb Cake Cardstock.

The large, white snowflake is attached with a couple of Dimensionals.  The small, Crumb Cake snowflake is attached with a glue dot.  If you need a fast, easy card for the Holidays, get the Snow is Glistening Stamp set and the coordinating Snowfall thinlit Dies before they are gone.  They are only available until November 30 or until they sell out.  Don't delay!

Fine these sets and dies on my Stampin' Up Store, and other holiday and dies in the  Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.  Order your holiday stamp sets and dies soon so you'll have them in plenty of time to create your handmade holiday cards.
