Stampin' Up! Under My Umbrella Stamp Set

As I impatiently await the delivery of my preorder from the new, annual Stampin' Up! catalog, I'm using up open paper packets and items set to retire before I begin using new products on their way. I haven't used the Under My Umbrella Stamp Set and coordinating Umbrella Builder Punch very much, so its getting a work out today.  I'm sad to say the cute Under My Umbrella Stamp Set is retiring June 2.  The good news is the Umbrella Builder Punch will carry over to the new catalog, AND, a new coordinating stamp set is part of the new catalog.  For those of you who already have the new annual catalog, the parasol stamp set is on page 44 of the 2020-2021 Annual Stampin' Up! catalog. Bundle pricing on this set ends June 2, even though this punch will carry over to the new Stampin' Up! annual catalog.  You can save 10% if you purchase the Under My Umbrella Bundle before the Under my Umbrella stamp set retires. If there are other bundles you've had your eye on, be sure to purchase them before the release of the new annual catalog. It's all in the Retiring Products information I posted in my recent post.  Order your favorites, including retiring In Colors reinkers for your In Color Stamp Pads before they are gone.

The basecard for today's card is Thick Whisper White.  Then another layer of Whisper White is dry embossed using the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder.

Then I selected four different black and white prints from  the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper that was only available during Sale-A-Bration earlier this year, and used the Umbrella Builder Punch to punch out umbrellas and handles after stamping them with the Under My Umbrella Stamp Set.

The sentiments from Under My Umbrella Stamp Set and another fom the March Paper Pumpkin Kit, were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then die cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies for one and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies for the other.  I found a roll of Basic Black Bakers Twine in my twine drawer which I used to accent the punched images.  If you want the Under My Umbrella Stamp set before it retires, check it out on the Last-Chance Product list.

This is such a fun, simple card that goes together quickly when you need a special message for someone you love.  You could easily change the look of the card by using coordinating colored designer series papers for your umbrellas and a matching baker's twine color.

The new Annual Stampin' Up catalogs will be available to customers June 2, Stampin' Up! is hipping catalogs directly to my customers who have purchased from me in the past 6 month.  My customers will receive their new catalogs mid- to late-May and can begin placing orders June 3.  If you don't have a demonstrator and want a copy of the upcoming Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog, contact me.   I would love to be your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.
