Use one card layout for multiple purposes

Stampin' Up! Easter Promise Stamp Set

Today's series of cards shows how you can use a common layout and simply by changing the sentiment, you're card layout works for many purposes.  A great card layout can really stretch a stamp set's usefulness.  I used the Easter Promise stamp set for the image for today's card. This beautiful Happy Easter sentiment is part of the Easter Promise set.  But the stamp set isn't restricted to Easter.  Beautiful sentiments from the Kindness & Compassion Stamp Set and the Magnolia Blooms Stamp Set are also beautiful choices with the Easter Promise Stamp Set's flower image.

The basecard for today's card is Crushed Curry.  Then a layer of one of the prints from the Follow Your Art designer Series Paper.  With the various shades of yellow in this Designer Series Paper print, you could also use Daffodil Delight or So Saffron as your basecard.  I happen to like the bold, dramatic effect of the Crushed Curry.

I die cut a layer of Vellum cardstock and a layer of Whisper White for the image, using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  I've gotten more than my money's worth out of this die set from the January-June 2020 Mini catalog.  If you don't already have it, this is one you'll want to order before the Mini catalog retires in June.

I stamped the flowers in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Then I selected different sentiments for each of my three samples and stamped them in Tuxedo Black Memento ink as well.  I used Dark Daffodil Delight and Light Mango Melody Stampin' Blends Markers to color the flowers, and Light Old Olive to color the stems.

To finish the card, I used Blends Markers to color 3/8" Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon and then created a bow, which I added to the card front. Then I added a single Glitter Enamel Dot to the image layer.

This series of cards show how quickly you can create a card design that works for many different occasion.   Let's keep stampin' as we think of others who would love to know you're thinking of them.  Sending handmade cards is a great way to stay in touch when you can't be with distant loved ones and your cards will be greatly appreciated during these times.
